Assisting the customers/other employees
I enjoy answering questions about products I have good knowledge of and helping people find what they need. They hire hardworking, capable and genuinely good people and promote from within.
They want full availability from you. Your schedule is never set or the same and your shifts are sometimes less than 12 hours apart. Hours vary as well which isn't conducive to paying bills or saving. They want everything from you as far as time, energy and productivity and service but deliver very little as far as benefits or being understanding of the human and practical need for stability and rest periods between shifts.
The quiet room and they are great about giving breaks.
The quality of the product, team members are diverse and amazing people.
The managers typically get away with yelling at and degrading employees. It's difficult to get into management and the company can close a store on you without notice and won't help much in finding you another job.
Health coverage.
Customer interaction and learning about healthy products, foods and lifestyles. Also, preforming promo demonstrations and sharing product knowledge.
Punching the clock and micro managers.
Product discounts and of course the 401k.

Great product, good discounts
Lots of favoritism from leadership. They are great at using the rules to separate teams. If you end up doing well and make good money they will find a way to terminate you.
