(NASDAQ:NUAN)) of CardioMEMS (acquired by St. Jude Medical (NYSE:STJ)), Fidelis SeniorCare (acquired by Centene (NYSE: CNC), Prenova (acquired by Ecova), and Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO)). I was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of WisePatient (acquired by Sharecare, Inc. in 2012), a SaaS-based patient access & care coordination platform connecting patients and providers online. Before founding WisePatient, I was a Senior Associate at Merrick Ventures, a healthcare and information technology focused venture capital firm led by Michael Ferro in Chicago, IL. While at Merrick Ventures, I supported the corporate development function of Merge Healthcare (NASDAQ:MRGE acquired by NASDAQ:IBM) focusing on mergers & acquisitions and post-merger integration. Prior to joining Merrick Ventures, I was an Associate at Arcapita Ventures, the growth stage venture capital arm of Arcapita, Inc., evaluating healthcare and information technology related investment opportunities.
