Monitor and control staff schedules as needed in the absence of the OR Charge Nurse. Schedule/conduct and assist with recruitment and training of staff as well as discipline of staff. Provide information/education from the corporate level and the center level to the OR staff in the Monday a.m. huddle. Oversee Inventory of supplies in collaboration with MM. Maintain operating policy and procedures as defined by Surgery Partners. Monitor and control staff schedules in collaboration with the OR Charge Nurse. Timecard verification of OR staff weekly for payroll. Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist. Perform annual reviews of all OR staff.     Peer Mentor FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Senior Director POSITIONS SUPERVISED: N/A POSITION OVERVIEW: The Kansas Certified Peer Mentor (KCPM) is responsible for utilizing his/her own recovery story to help consumers to develop skills necessary to recovery. The goal of peer support is for the consumer to regain control of his/her own life and recovery process by helping consumers to develop a network for information/support, assisting consumers to regain the ability to make independent choices and take a proactive role in recover. The Peer Mentor will demonstrate competency in recovery and the ability to self-manage recovery with on-going coping skills. The Peer Mentor will be expected to provide the majority of consumer contact in community locations that concur with where the consumer lives, works, attends school, and/or socializes. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides services to maintain required productivity/billing standard set by the department. 2. Meets deadlines and ensures accuracy of various reports/paperwork, mileage sheets, and electronic timesheets. 3. Provides peer support services in accordance with the consumer's treatment plan goals. 4. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of service provision. Completes progress notes in a manner that individualizes each note, reflecting appropriate interventions and progress towards goals. 5. Submits required progress notes/billing information in a timely manner as per agency guidelines. 6. Assists consumers in obtaining or sharing information in a group or individual (one-on-one) setting to aid in the recovery process. 7. Assists and teaches consumers to communicate, advocate, and make informed choices in all areas of their lives which include, but are not limited to: medications, diagnosis, treatment, housing, employment, and education. 8. Models effective coping skills and self-help strategies. 9. Provides consistency in services to consumers by arriving on time to scheduled appointments and/or notifying consumers in the event of tardiness. 10.
