Pros of working at Dallas Nephrology Associates

Great flexibility with time off. Opportunity to earn additional time off and incentives with patient satisfaction survey awards.

Cons of working at Dallas Nephrology Associates

The work environment is toxic. There is favoritism and nepotism that exists within this organization. I do not feel I have a safe place to voice my concerns. Not to mention, concerns are often dismissed. An environment where unprofessional behavior and bullying is tolerated. High turnover. Raises low. Usually 2%-3%. Definitely do not keep up with cost of living.

What do you like best about Dallas Nephrology Associates's CEO and the leadership team?

I do not know a lot about the CEO. My only interactions with him have been at company meetings. He seems like a very genuine, kind individual. The leadership at the location where I work is poor at best. Director spends little time at facility and is out of touch with the realities of the day to day. Interacts with only 2 or 3 employees at our location on a regular basis and shows favoritism. Clinical coordination lacks leadership qualities. Landed in position as a result of relationship with director, physician and HR.

How would you improve Dallas Nephrology Associates's culture?

With a company this large that has seemed to have ongoing turnover issues due to tolerance of unprofessional and bullying behaviors, I feel this organization would best be served to hire an outside HR management company. Having worked at a previous job where this type of toxicity developed during my 12 year tenure, the issues that exist here are not going to be resolved with an internal HR department. Too many personal relationships exist with favoritism and tolerance of bad behaviors based on an employees relationship with management.

How did you prepare for the Dallas Nephrology Associates interview?

I spoke with others who I knew had worked there. I searched the website to find out more about the company and their mission statement.

How does your compensation at Dallas Nephrology Associates compare to the industry average?

My compensation is on the low end of the industry average for my years of experience.

What's the diversity at Dallas Nephrology Associates like?

I feel DNA has a diverse demographic.

What brings you the most joy at Dallas Nephrology Associates?

Patient care is what beings me the most joy at work.
