An Egyptian-American, Maryana Iskander immigrated to the United States when she was young. She is currently CEO of Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, which based in South Africa. She has a track record of scaling organizations through partnership models, data-driven delivery, talent management, and technology innovation. Prior to joining Harambe in 2012, she was Chief Operating Officer for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, a US $1 billion organization that is the nation’s largest provider of women’s reproductive healthcare. Maryana has been an associate at global business consulting firm McKinsey & Company, a strategy consultant for W.L. Gore & Associates, and a law clerk at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York, and Vinson & Elkins in Houston. She received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University and earned a Master of Science from Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar. She also holds a Juris Doctorate from Yale University.

Lisa Gruwell is the Chief Revenue Officer of the Wikimedia Foundation.She joined WMF in September 2011.

Jaime Villagomez is the Chief Financial Officer for the Wikimedia Foundation overseeing strategic planning and budgeting and financial and administrative operations for the organization since February 2016.

Originally from San Francisco, Jaime provides a deep, international business experience from working around the world, including in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Wikimedia, he was the Chief Financial Officer at San Francisco Bay Area-based software company anyCOMM Corporation and the Karum Group; as Vice-president, Finance, at Advent Software and QRS Corporation; and as Vice-president and Controller at Northpoint Communications.

Jaime obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford and an MBA from University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.

I am an Arabic content writer and enthusiast. I study English literature at the University of Jordan, and have a vast interest in writing and science.

I translate content from English to Arabic and vice versa. I have translated for book publishers, web developers, newspapers, and online encyclopedias.I also create content, as I have spent nearly ten years as an editor of Wikipedia, the 6th most visited site on the global web.

I have always had a profound interest to promoting Arabic content on the internet. I have a deep experience with NGOs and volunteer organizations, having been a founder of Wikimedia Levant and an active member many online and offline content initiatives, including TED and Khan Academy among others.

Amy Vossbrinck is an Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer at Wikimedia Foundation and is based in San Francisco, California. She has worked as Executive Assistant/Scheduler at U.S House of Representatives; Director of Operations at Wikimedia Foundation; and Co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at State of the World Forum. Amy attended California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and SJSU.
