1921

Founded as a fish-oil supplier in 1921 by Brayton Wilbur, Sr. and Floyd Ellis, this company markets and distributes agricultural and industrial products, animal feed, seeds, fertilizer and machinery.

1931

In 1931, Wilbur-Ellis establishes an export trading business in Asia-Pacific with the acquisition of Connell Brothers, a distributor of food and other products.

2006

Wilbur-Ellis Nutrition acquires Alberta Timothy and expands into the forage market (2006).

2011

Wilbur-Ellis Nutrition acquires a meat bone rendering plant in New Zealand and a meal mixing plant in Kaufman County, Texas, to help solidify its presence in the pet food industry (2011).

2018

Wilbur-Ellis Nutrition acquires Ameri-Pac Inc. a family-owned, value-added manufacturing business focused on animal health and nutrition specialty products for the pet food, companion animal, livestock and aquaculture markets, located in St Joseph, Missouri (2018).
