Work you'll do

The Manager is responsible for managing related consulting projects, in addition to the development and management of staff assigned to projects, a Manager must understand how Commercial and Medical activities and related messaging/content are influenced by Regulatory/Health Authority requirements. We are seeking an individual either with consulting experience or with experience working in a related function at a Pharmaceutical, Biotech and/or Medical Device manufacturer who can make a successful transition to a consulting environment.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree required

+ 5+ years experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and/or Medical Device industries

+ Consulting background strongly preferred

+ Must understand the role that regulatory agencies (FME, EMA, etc.) play in the product development and commercial areas

The **Life Cycle Manager** for Caterpillar's Medium Wheel Loader business is a great opportunity for a strategic individual who enjoys interfacing with all levels of the organization and external customers and dealers to create a positive customer experience. As the Life Cycle Manager, you will develop and execute Aftermarket strategies for Medium Wheel Loaders which include New Product Introduction (NPI), retrofit, and Reman solutions to maximize supportability and optimize the parts sales portfolio. You will collaborate cross-enterprise with process partners to pursue parts opportunities including pricing, marketing, inventory & cost reduction.
**Job Duties** **include, but are not limited to:**

+ Develop, prioritize, and implement strategies to address customer needs throughout the lifecycle of the product.

+ Maintain a portfolio of projects that targets services growth on current machine population and future product development that provide the best value to the customer.

+ Work with commercial, field-based and new product introduction teams regularly to fully understand the customer's needs to consistently achieve aftermarket services results.

+ Parts Inventory: Including but not limited to Parts stocking level, service level gaps, past dues, back orders, low volume & non-current parts turns

+ Margin Optimization: Including but not limited to Pricing study definition, cost reduction project definition & execution, negative margin

+ Parts Business Teams & Roundtables: Including but not limited to Engine, Hydraulics, Filters & Fluids, Low volume, etc.

+ Life cycle solution improvements: Including but not limited to customer contracts (CSA, MARC, etc) support, Builder/AMT file validation, repair option development, service efficiency & components improvement, to achieve lowest operating costs.

**Basic Qualifications** **:**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of job-related, professional experience

+ Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the areas of product development, product support,aftermarket, components, product sourcing, logistics, sales or marketing

+ Project management experience

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Prior supervisory experience

+ Excellent written and verbal communication

+ Knowledge with multiple functional areas including New Product Introduction, 6-Sigma, product engineering, parts product background or field experience
