General Education Faculty: A minimum of a master's degree in the discipline or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 semester/27 quarter graduate credit hours in the discipline is required. Evidence of professional development is desired. Technical Faculty: In general, a minimum of a bachelor's degree, full-time employment for approximately three years, and evidence of professional development in the discipline or related area will be required. In circumstances deemed appropriate by the supervising dean and vice president for academic and student services, an associates degree and/or specialized certification along with appropriate work experience may be considered as the minimum requirement. Listed below are the exercises that will be assessed and the required minimum passing score for each exercise: o Vertical Jump - Minimum Passing Score = 14 Inches o Sit-Ups (in one minute) - Minimum Passing Score = 15 Repetitions o Push-Ups (no time limit) - Minimum Passing Score = 21 Repetitions o 1.5 Mile Run/Walk - Minimum Passing Score = 17:17 Minutes/Seconds o 300 Meters Run - Minimum Passing Score = 77 Seconds Automatic disqualifications in accordance with Idaho Administrative Procedures Act (IDAPA): * 11.11.01.055 INELIGIBILITY BASED UPON PAST CONDUCT. An applicant is ineligible to attend a basic training academy and for certification under the following circumstances. 01. Criminal Conviction. An applicant is ineligible if he was convicted of: a. A felony, if the applicant was eighteen (18) years old or older at the time of conviction; b. A misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence offense(s) within two (2) years immediately preceding application, or two or more (2) misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence offenses within five (5) years immediately preceding application; c. A misdemeanor crime involving domestic violence, if the relevant law enforcement discipline requires the applicant to possess a firearm in the course of their duty, or if the conviction occurred within 5 years immediately preceding application; d. A misdemeanor crime of deceit, as defined in these rules, or a misdemeanor sex offense, if the conviction occurred within five (5) years immediately preceding application; e. A misdemeanor drug-related offense, if the conviction occurred within one (1) year immediately preceding application. 02. Driver's License. An applicant is ineligible if he does not possess a valid driving license from the applicant's state of residence and is unable to qualify for an Idaho driver's license. 03. Marijuana. An applicant is ineligible if he used, illegally purchased, or illegally possessed marijuana, cannabis, hashish, hash oil, or THC in synthetic and natural forms, whether charged or not, if such use occurred. a. Within one (1) year immediately preceding application. b. While employed as a law enforcement officer, in a prosecutorial position, or in a position of public safety, regardless of when the use occurred. 04. Violations of Idaho Controlled Substances Act. An applicant is ineligible if he, while eighteen (18) years old or older, violated any provision of the Idaho Uniform Controlled Substances Act, Section 37-2701 et seq., Idaho Code, whether charged or not, that constitutes a felony, or of a comparable statute of another state or country, if the violation occurred: a. Within three (3) years immediately preceding application; b. While employed as a law enforcement officer, in a prosecutorial position, or in a position of public safety, regardless of when the illegal use occurred. 05. Use of Prescription or Other Legally Obtainable Controlled Substance. An applicant is ineligible if he unlawfully used any prescription drug or a legally obtainable controlled substance within the past three (3) years, unless: a. The applicant was under the age of eighteen (18) at the time of using the controlled substance; or b. An immediate, pressing, or emergency medical circumstance existed to justify the use of a prescription-controlled substance not specifically prescribed to the person. (3-31-22) 06. Military Discharge. An applicant is ineligible if he received a "dismissal," "bad conduct discharge" (BCD), "dishonorable discharge" (DD), or administrative discharge of other than honorable (OTH) from military service. (3-31-22) 07. Decertification or Denial of Certification. An applicant is ineligible if he has been denied certification; his certification is suspended in another state or jurisdiction, denied, revoked or applicant is not able to obtain certification in another state or jurisdiction; or his basic certificate has been revoked by the Council in this state or the responsible licensing agency in any other issuing jurisdiction, unless the denial or revocation has been rescinded by the Council or by the responsible licensing agency of the issuing jurisdiction. * Conviction defined: Any conviction in any federal, tribal, state, county, or municipal court; a voluntary forfeiture of bail, bond, or collateral deposited to secure a defendant's appearance in court as final disposition; the payment of a fine or civil penalty; a plea of guilty or nolo contendere; or a finding of guilt, notwithstanding the form of judgment or withheld judgment, regardless of whether the sentence is imposed, suspended, deferred, or withheld, or whether the plea or conviction is set aside or withdrawn, or the case or charge is dismissed or reduced, or the record expunged under Section 19-2604, Idaho Code, or any other comparable statute or procedure, where the setting aside of the plea or conviction, or dismissal or reduction of the case or charge, or expungement of the record is based upon lenity or rehabilitation rather than upon a defect in the legality or factual basis of the plea, finding of guilt, or conviction. "Conviction" does not include a misdemeanor conviction upon a bond forfeiture for a violation that is or would at the time have in Idaho been an infraction violation, if the only reason it is classified as a misdemeanor is due to the bond forfeiture. Performs all the job tasks required to complete the work. Responsible for driving company work vehicles at all times and maintaining an "A" safety score as defined by company. Follows all company, label and state safety standards.     Job DescriptionSalary: $20 + Looking for a Wildlife Specialist that will assist in assessing customer wildlife control needs, devise and implement creative solutions to capture various wildlife nuisances and prevent their return, and improve or restore construction damaged by wildlife. Prior Wildlife Damage Control experience preferred but will train. 1+ year roofing and general residential construction or equivalent experience required. Essential Functions/Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinates and organizes job sites as directed by the manager in adherence of all company, state law and protocols. Conducts trapping and all wildlife activities in a manner nothing less than humane and ethical. Responsible for ensuring the service truck is fully equipped and supplied for each job site before leaving the office. Keeps the vehicle clean and organized at all times. Responsible for workflow, record keeping, tools and vehicle maintenance. Responsible for completing all jobs in a timely manner. Ensure that each completed job site is left in a clean manor. Performs all the job tasks required to complete the work. Responsible for driving company work vehicles at all times and maintaining an "A" safety score as defined by company. Follows all company, label and state safety standards. Collaborate with the office scheduler and manager by updating your progress with each job and informing of any delays or open time for fill in work as needed. Ensures all paperwork and work orders in software are properly and timely updated and completed and accurate. Record quality pictures of all work performed (repairs, exclusion, traps and captures) in system. Communicate to customers before and after the services and ensure their satisfaction of work performed. Generate positive 5 star reviews of your work with customers. Accept and perform other work as assigned. Qualifications, Education and Experience: Candidates with strong ethical hunting/trapping experience Background in construction, such as but not limited to: roofing, siding, landscaping, restoration work, water proofing. 1+ years wildlife control experience preferred but willing to train. Must have a proven track record of being dependable and on time. High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to complete work assignments in a timely and professional manor. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be familiar with cell phones, tablets, apps. and technology in general. Able to safely work on ladders up to 48' Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized Good time management skills Able to work independently to meet or exceed revenue goals Special Requirements: Must not have any past criminal wildlife violations or domestic animal abuse convictions. During employment wildlife tech must not have any major violation write-ups or Department of Agriculture issued violations. Must pass a criminal history background investigation; however a conviction of a crime may not disqualify an individual from this position. Valid North Carolina Drivers License with insurable driving record to daily operate a company vehicle for business travel as required. Drug testing is required if hired. Work Environment/Working Conditions/Physical Demands The work environment and working conditions described here are representative of those that are typical of the job but not exhaustive and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment/Conditions: In the performance of the job duties, the employee will work in a variety of environments including construction sites and foundation areas in and around a house. This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments such as but not limited to possible tight and low areas under a house in a crawl space or in an attic while being exposed to wet and/or hot/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Physical Demand (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation) The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 70+ pounds of supplies and sometimes work safely with pesticides. Must be able to safely climb up to a 48 ft ladder and be comfortable with heights and being on roofs when necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, see and smell.
