Key Responsibilities:
Sample Logging: Receive and log all incoming samples, ensuring each is accurately recorded in the laboratory tracking system. Maintain clear records of sample origin, type, and relevant metadata.
Lab-Based Assessment: Conduct standardized laboratory assessments on samples, following established protocols for physical, or performance testing. Document all procedures and results meticulously.
Data Entry: Enter assessment results and relevant observations into designated spreadsheets or databases, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline sample handling and evaluation processes, contributing to lab efficiency and data quality.
Skills to Have and/or Expect to Learn
Experience with laboratory sample management and evaluation protocols

The House Monitors are responsible for monitoring the safety and security of Serenity intensive outpatient clients in substance abuse treatment. Assist with the day-to-day operations and monitoring both the clients, internal environment, and surrounding grounds.
Responsibilities:
· Relieving the previous shift and conferencing with them regarding all records, logs, daily reports to ensure accurate and complete reporting.
· Officially document any records, logs and so forth that are not complete.
· Conduct searches of all residents and their belongings each time they enter the facility.
· Assist in or conduct a residential headcount/bed check a minimum of three times per shift or as many times as directed by senior staff.
· Monitor the condition and behavior of all residents for intoxication.
· Assist in or conduct necessary room searches and inspections.
· Assist in the monitoring and collection of resident urinalysis specimens.
· May be required to transport residents, staff and/or packages to and from assigned destinations in an agency vehicle.
· Answer in-coming phone calls and direct the calls as needed.
· Make sure all visitors entering the facility, for either personal or business reasons, are logged in and out on the Daily Report.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Previous experience in the security field beneficial
· Must be able to use stairs, when necessary, for building evacuations, drills or during elevator maintenance.
· Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
· If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years abstinent.

Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Laboratory Technician I is responsible for preparing the laboratory classrooms and demonstrations in accordance to lesson plans, assisting in the troubleshooting of equipment and software to meet the needs of the lesson plan and appropriate clean up after the lesson has concluded. Ultimately, ensuring the laboratory is secured, equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored properly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepares classroom laboratory workstations with the necessary materials and apparatus to perform experiments
* Sets up and prepares experiments and demonstrations for classroom use
* Arranges supplies and equipment as laboratory requirements change
* Maintains and cleans the laboratory, stockroom, equipment and glassware
* Fills tubes, bottles and containers with specified solutions/materials and applies identification labels
* Properly disposes of laboratory waste materials
* Assists faculty in the laboratory; sometimes during educational sessions, by providing technical troubleshooting support
* Performs minor repairs and maintenance of laboratory equipment and tools
* Assists faculty with the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and/or curricula
* Secures laboratory area
* Assists with annual inventory
* May record and monitors expenditures and charges relevant to laboratory operation
* May functionally supervise Work Study Students, Student Assistants and Part Time Lab Technicians in the lab
* Prepares, maintains and monitors supplies and equipment inventory
* Assists Lab Supervisor in ordering, receiving and storing supplies
* Performs other related duties as assigned
* Science Laboratory Technicians may Maintain living plants and animals (i.e. rodents)
REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
* High School degree or GED
* Minimum of two years of experience:
* Science Laboratory Technicians: these two years must be in a laboratory-based Science (Biology, MLT, Chemistry, Physics, or other equivalent in Health Careers and Sciences)
Automotive Laboratory Technicians: these two years must be in an automotive repair shop or equivalent
* Basic computer skills, math and grammar
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent verbal, written and verbal communication skills; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
* Ability to read and interpret documents including: Safety Data Sheets (SDS), safety rules and processes, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
* Ability to determine needs and identify solutions
* Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of regular work
* Possess working knowledge of laboratory concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to apply in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
