The Opportunity:
The Associate II is responsible for performing information systems security and assurance audits of networks, systems, applications, platforms, databases, and operating procedures in accordance with established Federal auditing standards, thus determining the effectiveness of the information systems and security controls to properly secure and safeguard government Information Technology infrastructure and information assets. The Associate II also participates in audits of financial systems to attest to the effectiveness and adequacy of the system's data processing and security controls. This will enable the Associate to collect, process, maintain, and report accurate, reliable, and complete financial information.
The Associate II shall also participate in vulnerability and risk assessment reviews and evaluations of the client's IT infrastructure to determine the adequacy of the controls to detect and prevent unauthorized activities, provide an acceptable level of risk to the organization, and establish controls to mitigate loss. The Associate is expected to be familiar with or willing to be trained on information pertaining to Federal laws, the US Office of Management and Budget, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) information technology concepts, practices, standards, and procedures; industry best practices; and audit frameworks such as COSO and COBIT.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Senior Associate in performing test procedures
Examines accounting documents to verify accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and acceptable accounting standards
Prepares work papers and supporting documentation
You Have:
A Bachelors Degree in -business, accounting, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university
A minimum of a 3.0/4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA)
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably with CPA firms or within BIG4 experience
An active security clearance
A level of understanding in the areas of information systems audit, internal control reviews, and general and application control reviews
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to perform work that requires attention to detail, analytical ability, and organization
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally when needed, up to 25%

Salary:
Salary at Williams Adley is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is between $65,000.00 and $70,000.00 (annualized USD) based on experience, skills, and certifications. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Williams Adley's total compensation package for employees.

General Position Description:
Our Client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll processing, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and preparation of the annual budget process. The Accounting Manager will supervise accounting staff and ensure firm policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Accounting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting the firm's overall success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
Direct the day-to-day management of the firm's accounting functions
Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial data, in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and DCAA compliance, tax reporting, and to provide that information regularly to the Partners, Director of Operations and other stakeholders as required
Provide routine guidance and job cost reports to firm managers to gain an understanding of major variances and provide direction
Prepare the annual budget process (preparation, monitoring and forecasting) including compiling information from teams and the establishment and implementation of short- and long-range financial goals and objectives of the firm
Prepare the month-end financial package to include financial metrics and KPI's
Review GSA IFF quarterly reporting and payment
Provide additional insight regarding financials when questions are asked
Accounting Operations
Oversight of bank accounts and credit card accounts, including a monthly review of the reconciliation of these accounts
Provide ongoing review of cash management
Maintain the general ledger and manage the monthly closing process in a timely manner, including journal entries
Ensure revenue is correct
Understand and utilize unbilled revenues
Ensure that all invoices are posted every month
Payroll Management
Responsible for the overall management of JAMIS, including setting up new employees, ensuring all time is posted for payroll, reviewing expense reports, exporting expense reports and timesheets to the accounting system for posting
Process payroll in ADP and ensure all timesheets, expense reports, and taxes are posted to the accounting system. Ensure the payroll journal entry is completed in a timely manner
Work in coordination with Human Resources to ensure all employee deduction changes are entered into ADP correctly
Accounts Payable & Expense Management
Responsible for Accounts Payable and ensuring all bills are paid on time
Policy, Systems & Process Improvement
Collaborate with staff to develop and implement sound accounting and financial systems, processes, and policies designed to forward the company's strategic objectives; review and ensure that the company's policies and procedures are being followed
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Master's degree preferred
CPA required
5+ years of experience in progressively responsible general accounting roles
2+ years of supervisory experience
Expert knowledge of the principles of finance and accounting
Must be dependable, willing to work beyond business hours, when requested, to meet tight deadlines and/or unplanned special projects on occasion
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organized and detailed-oriented
Working knowledge of JAMIS accounting system preferred
Other Requirement:
Expert knowledge of the principles of finance, cost, and tax accounting
Experience working in the government contracting space preferred

The Opportunity:
The Senior Associate is responsible for performing detailed audit procedures and documenting results in well-organized audit workpapers. This role supports the development of audit work plans and project deliverables, including analyzing financial statements, reports, and accounting records of internal or external entities to verify accuracy and compliance. What you will do:
* Design and deliver IFS Projects Modules (Resource Management, Project Reporting & Invoicing and Project Financial Control) with leading practices throughout all phases of a cloud transformation
* Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practices in the areas of project management, project planning, project deliverables, project time registration, project cost accounting, multi-company project reporting, project reporting for contractors, budgeting and forecasting
* Hands-on formulation of business and functional requirements to set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned to business goals
* Oversee and participate in the configuration of IFS Cloud to bring client requirements to life and lead testing and training programs during ERP Transformation initiatives
* Support robust change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with the IFS Cloud solution
* Collaborate closely with Construction industry clients to understand their project management, resource planning, and financial tracking needs
* Provide guidance and best practices for leveraging IFS functionality to address specific Construction industry challenges such as budget overruns, scheduling conflicts, and regulatory compliance.
* Customize IFS modules for project planning, contract management, subcontractor management, resource allocation, and cost control in construction projects.
* Optimize IFS workflows and dashboards to support real-time project monitoring and decision-making
* Partner with project managers to identify project risk and issues. Work together to collaboratively develop and articulate mitigation strategies
* Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings and toolkits through internal initiatives
* Support sales cycles as needed as a Subject Matter Expert
* Lead the continuous development of the market offering
* Provide coaching, mentoring and performance counseling to consultants and client team members
* Participate in the development and deployment of team member IFS Cloud implementation training

Successful candidates will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Management/Computer Information Systems or related field or relevant experience in the field
* Minimum of seven (7) years of implementation experience, with 2+ years of hands on experience implementing one or more of the IFS Applications Projects modules or other leading ERP Solutions (ex. SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor)
* IFS Projects experience or Practitioner Certification preferred
* Certification or Experience with additional IFS Application modules a plus (Resource Management, Project Reporting & Invoicing, Project Financial Control)

* Strong understanding of the end-to-end construction project lifecycle from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure with focus on resource management, cost and budget tracking, bid and proposal management, change orders, and schedule management
* Experience with integrating Construction industry-specific tools and platforms including Procore, Primavera, and MS Project
* Ability to assess complex construction project requirements and translate them into efficient IFS configurations
