POSITION SUMMARY
As a Lead Teacher, you'll play an essential role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and young children. Working closely with the Supervisor and the Childcare Manager, you will create developmentally appropriate curriculum, care for children's basic needs, foster social and educational development, and communicate effectively with families. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma, or equivalent required
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate, or Vermont Career Ladder III, required
Bachelor or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or 21 College credits in a related field
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting
Must meet or exceed Vermont state qualifications for Lead Teacher

First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire)

Job Summary
The Student Services Coordinator serves in the Office of Undergraduate Student Services, located in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering. Plan, arrange and coordinate all admission events such as Medalist Day, Fall Open House, and Spring Accepted Student Celebrations. Help build community within the MANE department through organization and facilitation of regularly scheduled social events. Coordinate with undergraduate and graduate student services on department event logistics, advertising, and planning

Work with ABET Curriculum Coordinators, Department faculty and ABET support staff throughout the academic year to ensure ABET requirements and polices are being followed; collect all necessary course documentation for review by external ABET evaluators.
MANE Representative to coordinate Catalog and Curriculum revisions. Consult with MANE leadership including the Director of MANE Undergraduate Student Services, Associate Department Heads, etc. to incorporate all catalog revisions and curriculum template updates.
Welcome on-site visitors to the JEC; answer general inquiries and direct visitors to appropriate locations and services as needed. Ordering supplies and other duties related to academic advising and office operations.
Train, schedule, and provide direction to work study students to assist with department tasks.
