Responsibilities:

Position Overview
The Transportation Logistics Senior Associate assists in serving multiple business units within the Supply Chain Department. This individual will serve as the main conduit for day-to-day scheduling and vendor management of 3rd party couriers for Drug Product at Abeona Therapeutics location in Cleveland, OH. This position will help organize, manage, schedule, and troubleshoot any and all aspects of the Transportation of Drug Product from Abeona Therapeutics to various treatment centers across the country. This is an early to mid-career level role. This position is a first shift role, working 5 days per week onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Travels periodically To Qualified Treatment Sites (QTC) by plane and/or car to deliver Drug Product(s).
* Travel arrangements will be arranged by the Company.
Assist in scheduling, oversight, periodic review and logistics trending, trend report analysis, and overall facilitation of all drug product transportation activities.
Assists in Shipping and receiving of supplies associated with the manufacturing process
Assist Supply Chain Management with the process improvements to Transportation logistics to the Supply Chain Department.
Assists in Sales and Operations Planning activities and reports
Problem-solve potentially unique obstacles and provide novel solutions for a highly specific and tailored transportation system.
Ensure proper Chain of Custody / Chain of Identity procedures are constantly and consistently maintained by 3rd party couriers as well as Abeona Staff.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required (work experience can be substituted).
Minimum of 1-4 years logistics/transportation logistics/planning experience. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital or working in a GMP manufacturing environment, is a plus.
Must be organized, always able to receive new information and show a high attention to detail.
Demonstrated proficiency in cGMP, basic arithmetic, planning, tracking, prioritization and timelines with a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities
1. Member Relations
Create a customer service focused environment and ensure superior customer service through leading by example
Work with the sales team to integrate members into the club in a timely manner
Sincerely acknowledge members/guests and be professional in your personal presentation
Remain well trained and knowledgeable about the company, our services, promotions, and business practices in order to provide members and guests with consistent and accurate information while meeting their specific needs
Committed to listening to members and guest in order to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
2. Performance
Execute member communication initiatives that increase member retention, satisfaction and participation in revenue producing services
Minimum of 50 sessions, $1500 in training sales, and $150 in supplements per month
Achieve financial performance results through the generation of ancillary service revenues and member retention
Be proficient in appropriate club software systems (ABC, Outlook, MyZone, etc.)
All team members are responsible for maintaining their certifications (i.e. PT, CPR/AED) while employed at Browns Fit. Submit all paperwork associated with those certifications. Certifications must be accredited through a nationally recognized organization
3. Equipment & Facilities
Notify the corporate facilities department when repairs and maintenance are needed and serve as an advocate for getting these issues resolved in a timely manner
Maintain and implement an equipment cleaning schedule and overall maintenance checklist to ensure all equipment is working and operating
Maintain a safe, clean, and esthetically appealing physical environment
4. Team Member Relations
Work in partnership with other members of the Browns Fit team and as an integrated member of the Browns Fit Community. Contribute to the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations of the department and club, as well as the overall success of the business
Actively participate in meetings and company-wide initiatives and provide feedback and ideas for improving and building all aspects of the business
Work as part of the overall team by respecting, supporting, and encouraging your co-workers, assisting co-workers and other departments when necessary, and approaching challenges in a creative, positive, and team centered manner
Remain up to date on all individual, department and company communications by reading all individual and departmental emails and posted signage, as well as checking the company intranet often for important information and updates

Build and lead a high-performing garage team aligned with company goals, profitability, and vision.
Oversee garage operations including mechanic training, process development, PM inspections, purchasing, tire programs, diagnostics, fleet repairs, and DOT compliance.
Benchmark and set performance targets for fleet operations and garage team effectiveness.
Support the Fleet Manager in training, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Foster a positive and productive working relationship with the distribution and supply chain leadership team.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education/experience in automotive technology required.
Minimum 2 years of direct Fleet/Garage Management experience in food/beverage, consumer products, manufacturing, or over-the-road transportation is preferred
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships across teams.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively and challenge traditional approaches.
Skilled in analyzing complex data sets and making strategic business recommendations.
Knowledge of DOT compliance, and fleet optimization.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels and cultures.
Certifications & Licenses:
* Class A or B CDL preferred. Must possess a valid CDL-A or CDL-B and Medical Examiner's Certificate per FMCSA Part 391.41 before operating a commercial vehicle for Borden Dairy.
