WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors. Oncology RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
Preferred experience in oncology, stepdown, surgical, or telemetry nursing
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and background checks (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, Fit Test, TB/PPD, and others as required)
Successful completion of competency exams and nursing skills checklists
Valid Driver's License or State ID
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients in surgical and stepdown settings
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
Utilize telemetry and advanced monitoring equipment for patient assessment and clinical support
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on oncology treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety
