    The Intake Clinical Therapist reports to the Director of Admissions. The Intake Clinical Therapist adheres to standards and regulations as set forth by the agency, The Joint Commission and OCS licensing. The Intake Clinical Therapist is responsible for: The Intake Clinical Therapist is responsible for conducting admission assessments on students for consideration to AK Child & Family programs. The Intake Clinical Therapist is a member of the admissions department and works collaboratively with other members of the department. All employees with AK Child & Family are required to be in compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid COVID vaccine mandate. The Intake Clinical Therapist is expected to abide by all safety rules and regulations of the facility. AK Child & Family practices the Sanctuary Model which is a non-hierarchical, highly participatory, trauma-informed and evidence-supported whole culture approach, which helps the organization function in a safe, democratic and socially responsible manner and thereby provide effective treatment for clients and the community. The responsibilities of the Intake Clinical Therapist are carried out according to AK Child & Family policies, and mission of AK Child & Family and its philosophy of care. The Intake Clinical Therapist adheres to the professional ethics of the American Psychological Association or the National Association of Social Workers (MSW only).
