Hyera Inc is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Process Operator for its activated carbon
production facility located in Willows, CA.
The Process Operator is responsible for the operation of equipment in their assigned area of the
facility, specifically within an activated carbon production plant utilizing carbonization and
activation systems to turn agricultural waste (e.g. almond shells) into activated carbon. The
operator will monitor and control the production process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of
activated carbon output. The operator will provide support to other team members, including Lab
Staff and Field Operators, to ensure operational, safety, and quality standards are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.
1. Operate and Monitor Systems:
Operate and monitor carbonization and activation systems, including reactors, kilns, and gas handling equipment, to ensure optimal production of activated carbon.
Monitor and control the plant's automated systems using computer-based controls.
2. Adjust Process Parameters:
Adjust process parameters (e.g., pressure, feed rate, temperature, gas flow) to maintain product quality and meet production targets.
3. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for carbonization, activation, and post-treatment processes to ensure consistency, safety, and quality standards are met.
4. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to the carbonization and activation processes, including equipment malfunctions or deviations from process parameters.
Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
5. Monitor and Maintain Equipment:
Monitor and maintain equipment performance, including reactors, kilns, heat exchangers, and gas scrubbers, and coordinate minor repairs or preventative maintenance as needed.
Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area.
6. Collaborate with QA Teams:
Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to analyze product samples and adjust process parameters to meet quality specifications for activated carbon (e.g., surface area, pore size distribution, adsorption capacity).
Inspect product to ensure quality standards are met for activated carbon.
7. Ensure Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of carbonization gases, emissions control, and waste management.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment. Responsible for permitting onsite contract work.
8. Provide Feedback and Reporting:
Provide feedback on process improvements and report any safety, environmental, or operational concerns to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production records, including process data, equipment logs, and quality control reports.

The Medical Claims Biller/Receptionist is responsible for maintenance of patient accounting systems and the day-to-day delivery of billing support services that support the delivery of patient-focused care.
The incumbent is expected to work in accordance with the mission, purpose, and values of the Colusa Indian Community Council.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Referral Coordinator is responsible for handling referrals within the rural health clinics. Receptionist responsibilities include, but not limited to, greeting patients, answering phones, making appointments, maintaining patient charts and organizing all clerical duties. Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Takes telephone request for authorizations.
Prepares referral requests.
Track referral process, utilizing a tracking log. Responsible for insuring referral correspondence is received and reviewed by provider.
Generates reports that summarize referrals and authorization activity.
Handles all incoming telephone calls and exercises judgment as to the urgency or other nature of the calls and directs them to appropriate personnel. Answers the telephone professionally, identifying self and department. Handles telephone information requests with courtesy, accuracy and respect for confidentiality.

Completes various agency forms and records
Types and maintains all patient medical files, making sure that all documents are filed in the correct location of the patient chart.

Review patient chart for accuracy of billing information and ensure medical/legal compliance with Consent for Treatment and third-party requirements, such as pre-admission authorizations and second surgical opinions.
Assure timely distribution of all paperwork to all involved areas, such as Business Office billing and physician's offices.
Ensure enforcement of hospital collection and insurance verification policies.
Translate for patients and/or staff.
Register patients into the HMS system.
Obtain prior authorizations.
Collect money from patients and distribute receipts.
