Fellow employees, we all help one another get through the day. Show More

What DON'T You Like About Working There?

There are a lot of things from upper management to the fact that there is a pay scale based upon how many hours you have worked at the company and not for how good of an employee you actually are to how you can be reprimanded for being late more than two minutes and possibly eventually fired. With the pay scale you will eventually get topped off with how much you can earn at an hourly rate and it leads to the more senior workers who are topped off to slack off in getting their tasks done. When it comes to issues with upper management they often don't actually look into departments and will just blindly trust department managers to keep everything in order. When in-fact a good majority of department managers are heavily disliked by their workers because they often slack off and end up putting more work on their workers then necessary. I could go on for a while about the mass amount of issues and I could go into specifics as well, but I would prefer not to. Show More

We do receive health insurance with vision and dental included as well as stock, but you will not receive the full amount of stock you have earned until you have been at the company for a total of five years. If you leave prior to that then you will receive fractions of what you have accrued. Show More

What DON'T You Like About Working There?

Don't let WinCo's "Employee Owned" slogan fool you, they don't care about people at all and they treat people like garbage. WinCo are criminals and thieves! They'll lie in order to steal money from you and they don't care how many lives they destroy, they only care about money. I've witnessed so many times the supervisors yelling and abusing the night shift shelf stockers and just overall treating people like dirt. WinCo even have the audacity to try to cheat people from their last paycheck arguing "it would cost more to print the check" even though the last paycheck was for $700. I highly doubt it costs $700 to print a paycheck and it shows once again that WinCo are thieving, criminal-minded, and dishonest. Shame on you Steven Goddard, the CEO of WinCo, for having your dogs and goons at WinCo treat people so poorly and criminally. Don't support WinCo. They'll throw you under the bus like everyone else.
