Window cleaner job description

· Safely move extension ladders to and from vehicles and around job sites (~70 pounds)

· Climb and work from ladders; work on feet all day (with standard breaks)

· Occasional supplement work: gutter cleaning, low pressure and high pressure washing, solar panels

· Preparing vehicle with equipment needed such as loading DI tanks, power washer, spinner onto vehicle

· Ensure all equipment used is returned to vehicle after work completion

· Interface courteously with customers

· Work harmoniously in a team—generally 2; occasionally 3 people

· If driving, use truck’s navigation system and follow directions to job locations

· Work hours: start time generally 5 am with some job start time variables from 5 am—8 am.

· Part time or full - time Sunday through Thursday

· Wear company provided shirts, caps/hats

· Wear work-appropriate black pants or shorts

· Wear work boots (most work performed while standing)

· Must communicate effectively in English

Qualifications :

· Experience preferred but will train

· Drivers license preferred with good driving record

· Ability to work well with co-workers

· Must provide documentation of legal authorization to work in the United States

· Must have means of transportation to get to and from Monrovia every morning

· Must maintain good grooming such as showering, hair and facial hair trimmed and clean clothes

· Transportation from Monrovia to job sites provided.

· Occasional day jobs at commercial buildings in Orange, western LA and Ventura counties

· Job locations may be commercial or residential.

Window Cleaner position applicants must be over 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license and a car or truck for use daily for work. Gas reimbursement weekly. Health Insurance available (after 90 days).



Experienced high rise workers rate of pay up to $20.00 plus per hour depending upon experience, plus overtime time and a half for over 40 hours. Starting Rate of pay is $18.00 per hour without experience, overtime time and a half for over 40 hours. Paid on the job training is provided, no experience is necessary For this Specialty Maintenance job you must be able to lift a five gallon bucket throughout the day. Must be able to carry and climb ladders. Work may include working outside during the summer months. Some of the job sites may require security clearance. This is a full time job and the start time is 7am daily. Additional opportunities to work on Saturdays is required during peak months. Overtime paid for over 40 hours a week. Must have car or truck for daily use, all window cleaning equipment is supplied by SBM.
Advancement and wage increase based upon experience and work performance.
