JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for Franzia Wines in the development and execution of the annual and long-term strategic marketing plan for this key priority brand. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This key role within The Wine Group's marketing department is responsible for developing and executing the strategy and related tactics for Franzia wines. The World's Most Popular Wine , Franzia is #1 wine brand by volume domestically and globally, establishing the box wine segment in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have a unique combination of best-in-class skill, competence, and confidence (a) as a creative innovator with the ability to manage new product development/commercialization, (b) as a brand marketer accountable for brand health and performance, and (c) as an effective liaison with the Sales team to help promote the brand to distributors and key accounts.
Skilled Consumer Marketer: Comfortable developing, implementing and assessing consumer-facing platforms to deliver and optimize business-building initiatives. The Cost Accounting Analyst will interpret and analyze valuation of inventories produced or acquired throughout The Wine Group (TWG) facilities and perform relevant account reconciliations. This includes valuation of incoming grapes, wine, barrels, and work-in-process inventory. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reconcile bulk perpetual inventory to the general ledger.
Process monthly bulk inventory accounting transactions (Blend Accounting).
Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues with inventories produced or acquired throughout The Wine Group (TWG)
Perform bulk wine inventory cost corrections as needed.
Track, report, and resolve variances related to production of wine. (Shared responsibility)
Assist in preparation of costing for wines to include conversion from grape and outside bulk purchases to do annual role of vintage cost standards to be used in creating standard costs for each year.
Prepare workpapers related to the inventory segment of the annual financial audit.
Maintain select overhead rate tables within TWG's ERP system.
Ensure that the blend accounting automatic accounting instructions (AAI's) within TWG's ERP system are consistent with the company's cost accounting methodology.
Demonstrate mastery of the company's inventory chart of accounts.

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Direct Sales and Logistics, the Wine Club Manager is responsible for managing and growing the Benziger and Imagery Wine Club programs. What your day could look likeā¦
* Making approximately 6-10 in person account visits per day using a planned strategy to consult with customers.
* Administrative functions such as but not limited to: completing daily assessment of shipping and A/R reports, setting up samples, sell sheets, and point of sale shelf talkers.
* Ensuring orders are filled and shipping for the following day and collecting checks from customers in applicable markets.
* Hosting wine dinners, on and/or off premise staff trainings, in store tastings, and merchandising accounts.
* Communicating with your manager and other internal departments throughout the day to ensure sales goals are achieved.
* Significant travel by automobile can be expected in most territories.
* Physical activity can include but is not limited to: lifting cases weighing up to 45 pounds, building displays, and/or replenishing stock in retail stores.
What does a successful candidate look like in this role?
A successful candidate would need to meet these minimum requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience in either on or off premise sales with proven wine and/or spirits knowledge
* High school graduate or GED diploma.
* Goal oriented, self-motivated, solution minded, pro-active, self-starter, and positive team player.
* Demonstrated technical proficiency can include but not limited to: IOS platform, Excel, Word, Outlook. Diver and Core Commission experience preferred.

* Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for all VIP data related tasks across the wine business functions, ensuring full command of master data management, VIP tools and applications and data quality
* Effectively utilize and manage VIP applications such as Price 2.0, iDIG, KARMA, Circana and other tools as needed including the ability to:
+ Leverage Outlet Cleansing within iDIG reports and chain hierarchy
+ Manage accounts in KARMA, adding and reviewing for accuracy
+ Customize and report on the Brand Finder widget through the VIP web-based app
* Provide in-depth sales analysis using industry, category, market, distributor, retailer, and brand performance data from both internal and external sources
* Design and maintain standardized reports and tools for consistent messaging across markets, while allowing customization for specific audiences
* Lead the sales forecasting and demand planning processes to drive fact-based decision-making
* Work closely with internal and external Business Intelligence (BI) teams to provide top-tier analytics to the Executive, Sales, Financial, and Production teams
* Partner with Sales to manage, model, and improve the global pricing database ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and availability to all stakeholders
* Verify that pricing deals align with brand guidelines, financial objectives, and market-specific business practices
* Serve as the primary point of contact for market data vendors, including scan, vendor, and depletions data providers
* Develop and maintain a dynamic inventory model integrated with sales forecasting and demand planning
* Support the Sales team during the annual planning cycle by integrating volume, revenue, price support, COGS, and promotional spend into geographically and portfolio-specific templates
* Foster a culture of innovation by seeking out new data sources, processes, and technologies to advance analytics capabilities
* Train Sales and Administrative teams on the use of analytics tools and systems, including VIP (Price 2.0, iDIG, Karma) and Circana data
**Qualifications**
* Minimum 5+ years of sales analytics experience in the wine industry or alcohol sector, with strong familiarity with distributor sales channels and platforms
* Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system and experience with shipment, depletion, and scan data reporting
* Demonstrated expertise in VIP systems (Price 2.0, iDIG, Karma) and Circana data with the ability to explain the data and train other team members on the system usage
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
* Expert knowledge of developing database queries, query optimization, creating views, and stored procedures
* Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Systems and Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services
* Outstanding verbal and written communication, executive presentation, organizational, and teamwork skills
* Robust and meticulous problem solving and systematic thinking, with a keen eye for continuous improvement in processes and deliverables
