    Great Lakes Wine and Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to work the Night Shift at one of our depots in Metro Detroit. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee operational performance by assisting and covering fellow managers and supervisors with daily assignments, taking into account: volume, call-offs, and employee training needs. To facilitate this, proper communication with management and fellow team members is crucial. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Mitigating and monitoring: careless behavior, breakage, idle & over-time, and excessive or inappropriate supply usage Following safety, security guidelines as communicated, pertaining but not limited to: cleanliness, PPE compliance, biomechanical techniques, potential hazards, MHE certs, suspicious activity and theft Opening/closing/resetting work areas and/or buildings as dictated by protocol Auditing work area drops zones to ensure product is physically and electronically handled correctly Surveying assigned work area(s) daily to identify & correct issues that aren't in line with shift/company goals regularly throughout the shift Ensuring work area SOPs / responsibilities are properly and timely addressed As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will also be responsible for maintaining logs pertinent to payroll and employee information as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to: Verifying punches, approving overtime, and recording leave via daily / weekly inputs Assisting with hiring, reprimanding and discharging for direct reports under management supervision Authoring and submitting injury, disciplinary and any other assigned forms in a timely manner following company standards and protocols Warehouse Supervisors will also train, develop, lead, counsel, delegate and performance coach to ensure our nightly objectives are met. Other duties include, but are not limited to: Conducting team meetings on subject matter delegated by Warehouse Management, as well as HR and Safety Monitoring and maximizing employee engagement via recognition and accountability interactions with direct reports Ensuring safety guidelines are communicated and followed by direct reports Ensuring equipment assigned to or required by direct reports is maintained, available and functioning properly Work Environment & Physical Demands: The Warehouse Supervisor will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibrations where noise levels can be loud. This position also requires to be very active and may frequently be standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing throughout the day. Items will weigh up to 50 pounds that will require frequent lifting, stacking, moving and rotating without handles and pushing/pulling carts with up to 100 pounds of force. Work Schedule This position works the Night Shift, Sunday through Thursday, and occasionally Fridays based on business needs and holiday schedule. Pay & Benefits At least $60,000 - $75,000 per year (paid semi-monthly). Potential quarterly bonuses up to 2.5% of annual salary ($1,500 - $2,125 per quarter). Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Merchandiser is responsible for timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail accounts stores. This position will be working with store level personnel to ensure effective placement of shelf products and in-store displays while assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and display locations. The Merchandiser must demonstrate a professional demeanor by dressing and grooming in a professional manner while keeping vehicle clean, organized with adequate P.O.S. and other sales materials. Other duties include but not limited to: Building displays Managing GLWAS product conditions within the store Working with GLWAS District Managers and Area Managers to address product out of stocks.
