Position Summary:

This role begins by learning the in-depth processes, tools and structures we use to design client insurance portfolios and requires a strong aptitude in financial math and financial modeling. The individual in this role will need to show a strong mastery of product knowledge, fundamental income and estate tax planning knowledge, and case design within their first 12 -18 months. Heavy use of Power Point, Excel, financial modeling and preparing client presentations will be required to support our Client Relationship Managers. Combing the skills of sales/relationship building and technical skills will advance you onto a path of a client facing role where you will be able to learn the fundamentals and complexities of our business, and eventually grow into sourcing and managing your own relationships with some of the most influential people in New England and beyond.
Position Responsibilities:
Analysis
Gain knowledge of life insurance products and assist in the preparation of financial analytics and reporting for the firm's ultra-high net worth clients
Run term, permanent, and private placement illustrations and work within the WKG Excel templates in support of other Designers on the team
Assist with preparing meeting materials for client meetings and calls by accessing SharePoint for grab-n-go documents and coordinating with Designers for custom materials
Monitor and review the Client Relationship Manager's calendars to note new appointments and identify needs for meeting materials
Create periodic updates of key WKG spreadsheets and modify for bespoke client fact patterns
Marketing / Sales Development
Shadow a Senior Client Relationship Manager
Observe calls with Clients and Centers of Influence
Take notes from client meetings and circulate to the appropriate parties

Your new role

This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of a No‑Fault caseload. No‑Fault cases are processed in the Supreme and Civil Courts across all five boroughs as well as in nearby counties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage No‑Fault claims, as well as litigation and arbitration, including inter‑company arbitration for loss transfer and uninsured motorist claims.
Respond to complaints, prepare motion documents, and draft discovery requests and responses, including writing legal memoranda.
Review expert and medical reports, obtain subpoenaed records, and analyze both legal and factual issues.
Attend court conferences, argue motions, and defend cases in arbitration.
Oversee the activities of outside counsel to ensure quality and manage costs, while also supporting No‑Fault anti‑fraud initiatives and the Special Investigation Unit. This includes administering Examinations Under Oath (EUO) for both claimants and providers.
Provide managerial and supervisory oversight to the unit's paralegal team.
Advise management and claims examiners on the applicability of No‑Fault law and any changes that may occur.
Effectively research and implement special projects as requested by the General Counsel.
Handle additional special projects assigned by Senior Management.
Select, develop, and motivate personnel within the department. Provide career development for subordinates. Provide prompt and effective coaching and counseling. Responsible for the discipline/termination of employees when necessary. Review the performance of staff. Position Summary:
The primary function of the Institutions Case Design Associate is to manage the design and implementation of insurance portfolios sourced within the Institution Channel. This requires coordination between internal and external stakeholders including external institutional advisors, Winged Keel Group institutional-focused Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), internal Winged Keel Group departments including underwriting, new business, and client services, and issuing insurance companies. Life insurance portfolio design includes the creation of presentations to assist clients as they make decisions about the portfolio, structure, and funding of new life insurance, or how to optimize the performance of their existing life insurance portfolios.
The successful Case Design candidate will also build relationships with external Financial Advisors taking over as point-of-contact for key, strategic relationships. Position Responsibilities:
Gather data from Client Relationship Managers, insurance carriers, legal resources, professional advisors, etc.
Support models of the strategies utilized to fund estate planning life insurance structures
Illustrate the full spectrum of approved life insurance and annuity products for major life insurance carriers including traditional life insurance products and private placement life insurance products
Coordinate the implementation of insurance portfolios across the underwriting/new business teams as well as assisting Financial Advisors with internal systems, i.e. drop ticket systems
Act as a liaison between the CRM and the financial advisor to ensure consistency when the primary CRM is unavailable
Assure compliance with NASD/MHS, external institutions compliance teams, and insurance regulations around presenting information related to securities transactions
Manage internal/external deadlines, minimize unnecessary requests from advisors and clients, anticipate client/CRM requests, and proactively move cases through the implementation process
Maintain appropriate records tracking prospecting and client activity within the firm's client relationship management system (i.e., Salesforce)
Attend advisor/client calls documenting the key points of the meeting and follow-up or delegate the appropriate action items
Support transition of each sold case beyond design, into the implementation group (Underwriting), and finally to the administration group (Client Service)
Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following:
MUST HAVE A minimum of 3 year's experience in the life insurance industry
Bachelor's in Economics or Finance preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Must be proficient in Vlookups, If/Then formulas, Goal Seek, Conditional Formatting, NPV, and IRR)
Superior financial math aptitude with the ability to perform advanced number crunching
