Today, single individuals (women/men/transgender) and their children can receive temporary safe shelter through WINGS housing, while our staff provides one-on-one, individualized assistance in setting personal goals that will enable them to work, continue their education, and care for themselves and their children. Simply put, we provide a pathway to independence for people whose lives have been disrupted by domestic violence.
Objective: To maintain the smooth operation of the Safe House and Crisis Line, and support clients as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate the Crisis Line by providing crisis intervention, counseling, education, safety planning, and referrals to callers.
* Conduct and approve intake and eligibility evaluations to determine guest's needs and appropriateness for services at the Safe House.
* Interact with guests in the community areas of the house and role model social skills, conflict resolution, parenting and other skills of daily living (this may include time management, self-care, conflict and stress management, parenting, budgeting and others).
* Supervise and coordinate activities related to house policies and chores.
* Identify guest needs and communicate these needs to the responsible staff member to secure donations and services.
* Ensure building is safe and secure, reporting any concerns to appropriate personnel.
* Maintain timely, accurate records including up-to-date client files, statistics report, and census.
* Update daily roster and shift reports.
* Assist with meals and mealtime during the shift.
* Assist in processing and storing donations as requested.
* Attend and participate in supervision, weekly group meetings, and other meetings as required.
* Conduct, attend, and participate in appropriate training and education.
* Immediately report child abuse to Department of Children and Family Services as mandated by law and in accordance with agency procedures.

THE ROLE:
To provide direct supervision tofoster care case management staff in order to ensure the delivery of quality services to children, foster parents, and biological families in order to achieve reunification, guardianship, or adoption as outlined in the client case plan.
QUALIFICATIONS: MSW and equivalent human service degree with three years supervisory experience in social work setting.
CHILD WELFARE LICENSURE REQUIRED.

I. Duties: Foster Care Supervision
Review, accept, and assign referrals to Foster Care.
Provide direct supervision of the Foster Care Program and staff.
Facilitate regular team meetings for the Foster Care Program.
Ensure case documentation meets agency and COA requirements.

The Medical Advocate (MA) position involves working with survivors of domestic violence. The MA duties include medical advocacy, supportive services, and case management to individuals, who are screened through the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) assessment tool. WINGS Program, Inc. promotes self-reliance through an empathic and caring atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess each patient's strengths and needs upon entry to the pilot TBI program. Identify the level of care for medical/dental, social, education, and required support.
* Provides direct patient services in the form of bedsides, crisis intervention, emotional support, and conflict resolution in accordance with the TBI response toolkit.
* Provide direct services to clients with TBI diagnosis including but not limited to case management and comprehensive support.

The Intake and Resource Advocate explains available WINGS services, completes intakes with callers when eligible for WINGS services, and provides brief crisis intervention and safety planning with individuals experiencing domestic violence and/or homelessness .
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct intake and eligibility screenings to determine caller's needs and eligibility for WINGS services.
· Inform Intake Line callers about WINGS services available including- housing, counseling, mentoring, and support groups.
· Complete intakes within WINGS online database system with callers eligible for WINGS services.
· Maintains Intake Line voicemail log and ensure that callers receive a call back within 72 hours.
· Identify, update, and maintain referral lists for callers and agency clients.
· Provide Intake Line callers with applicable community referrals.
· Inform callers of their rights as indicated by domestic violence and housing Iaws and policies.
· Provide emotional support and referrals to walk in clients.
· Maintain contact with waitlisted individuals from adult and child counseling programs by providing brief crisis intervention, safety planning, and confirming their continued preference to remain on WINGS waitlist.
· Maintain accurate documentation and timely data entry using WINGS database system.
· Conduct, attend, and participate in appropriate training and education.
· Immediately report child abuse to Department of children and Family Services as mandated by law and in accordance with agency procedures.
