The Dining Room Server provides table service to residents and visitors by taking orders for food and beverage, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a safe, comfortable, and exceptional dining experience.

SENIOR LIVING SERVER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet residents and visitors as they are seated at the table. Using proper greeting and Mr./Mrs./Ms. And last name
Distributes menus and presents the daily specials in a warm, enthusiastic, and friendly manner
Answer questions about the menu
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe dining room and service area.
Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen.
Prepare dining room and service areas before each meal.
Collects plates and clears the table as residents finish their meals.
Clean and reset dining room after each meal.
Clean and organize service area after each meal.
Store food properly for infection control.
Record meal counts after each meal.
Clean equipment, and work areas according to schedule.
Advise management of any concerns regarding resident safety by completing incident reports.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Kitchen areas can become congested and noisy during meal preparation and service times.
