About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Principle RF Payload Engineer to join our RF Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical direction of satellite RF system architectures and subsystem design. As an integral part of our growing engineering team, you will be collaborating cross-functionally with electrical, software, thermal, mechanical, and spacecraft operations teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead detailed RF system modeling & EM simulation efforts

Delivery Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for the deployment, support, and optimization of enterprise wired and wireless network environments. This role focuses on executing scoped delivery work for customer engagements, supporting both new deployments and existing infrastructure.
Delivery Engineers work closely with senior engineers and project teams to implement approved designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions are delivered according to best practices, security standards, and customer expectations. This role requires strong technical fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in live production environments.
Travel up to 25% required for this position.
Other responsibilities include:
Network Engineering (Enterprise / Campus)
Configure, deploy, and support enterprise LAN infrastructure
Implement VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP, and basic QoS
Support static routing and OSPF
Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues
Assist with upgrades and lifecycle refreshes
Maintain documentation and diagrams
WirelessEngineering
Deploy and support enterprise WLANs
Perform predictive and validation surveys (Ekahau preferred)
Configure SSIDs, RF profiles, roaming, and security
Troubleshoot coverage, interference, and authentication issues
Network Security & Access
Support 802.1X, RADIUS, and NAC concepts
Implement ACLs, port security, and segmentation
Follow change and security standards
Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section
Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts

Desired skills and experience:
3-6 years of enterprise network and wireless experience
Strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Ruckus, or similar vendors
Proven troubleshooting skills in production environments
Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:
Cloud-managed networking (Meraki, Mist, Aruba Central)
Exposure to enterprise firewalls
Basic network automation familiarity
CCNA (Enterprise)
CWNA or vendor wireless certifications
Must be based in the United States

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $120,000- $130,000, plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.

As a Telecommunications Engineer II, you will provide engineering of enterprise-wide telecommunication systems to include evaluation, design, provisioning, and implementation of appropriate technology solutions and services within the Cleveland Clinic enterprise. In this role, you will serve as an architect for new telephony systems and buildout constructs, ensure system performance, availability, and reliability of deployed technology / services delivered to clients. A caregiver in this position serves as an escalation point on complex technical problems and support issues providing problem diagnostic and consulting services, providing analytical, project management, and technical support with emphasis on voice switching and transmission facilities.
A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, on-call as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide evaluation, engineering, standards compliance, provisioning, install planning, and implementation of projects (e.g. new site, build-out activities as well as system upgrades) and/or operational practices. Interprets business needs and matches them to appropriate telecom equipment and/or applications while providing effective and economical solutions to telecom business requirements (as constrained by governing budgets).
Provide project budgeting estimates to include scope of work and contract reviews and recommendations.
Communicate production requirements for on-going maintenance and support.
Provide design requirements and configuration of new and/or upgraded telecommunications hardware and software.
Coordinate the installation of hardware, Operating System, applications software, and peripherals as required.
Develop and communicates technical environmental requirements related to physical space, system security, power, HVAC, etc.
Participate in project and change control meetings concerning the physical placement and installation of telecommunication solutions.
Use a standard Project Book to document all related activities.
Provide for the design, planning and scheduling of integrating additional hardware, OS upgrades, or other enhancements into production systems as required to sustain a supportable product.
Provide project implementation schedules and monitors activities and escalates issues within the vendor support channel and/or senior management as necessary.
Create documentation as needed in the support of production turn over needs, on going maintenance, and usage of voice service equipment.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Services and/or Telecommunications, or a minimum 10 years equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years related experience in information systems environment to include at least 5 years of extensive hands-on support of a large multi-service environment is required.
Experience with large scale VoIP enabled PBX products that support over 1000 stations. Examples include Cisco, Avaya, or NEC PBXs.
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
10+ years Telecom experience in a large, complex 24x7 environment
Proficiency with Avaya Call Manager, System Manager and Session Manager
Proficiency with Esna Officelinx/Avaya IX Messaging
Proficiency collecting and analyzing complex SIP traces
Proven ability to manage upgrades of large Avaya CM systems in a hospital environment
Proficiency with Windows Server OS
Proficiency with Linux
Familiarity with VMware
Proficiency with Avaya CS1000 is preferable
Exposure to Cisco UCM is preferable
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
