AS A WIRE TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:
• Wire, layout, and do any cutouts on inner pans and control panels
• Perform wiring inside of control houses or on equipment after being installed on process modules, and install components, process piping, and instrumentation
• Cut, strip, and terminate wires per acceptable industry standards
• Bend, thread, and install conduit
• Cut, ream, bend, and install tubing
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Must be able to read and interpret layout drawings and wiring schematics, and read and interpret point-to-point wiring
• Must be able to recognize electrical symbols and be familiar with NEC
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be familiar with basic hand and power tools
• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and withstand noise, heat/cold extremes
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Ability to excel in a team environment
• Ability to pass forklift driver test upon request
