1962

Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp. was founded in 1962 by Otto J. Wolter.

1969

1969: Brookfield headquarters built

1977

A D Lift Truck supplies businesses with material handling equipment such as new and pre-owned forklifts, aerial lifts, pallet racking, and more throughout St Louis since 1977.

1990

1990: Training division formed

1996

Founded in 1996 in Indianapolis, Kensar supplies customers all over Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky with new and used forklift options through their robust wholesale fleet of new and used forklifts, aerial lifts, rough terrain forklifts, personnel carriers, and other heavy equipment.

1998

Fleet Services was established in 1998 as there became a strong demand for solving warehouse inefficiencies and the need for a solution to reduce costs associated with moving materials throughout their facilities.

1999

By 1999, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) introduced the Tier system to limit engine emissions.

2002

Founded in 2002, Valley Industrial Crane is a crane and hoist service provider offering a variety of service support, parts, project design and installation to customers throughout Ohio.

2010

2011

2011: Wolter Group LLC brand introduced to unify family of companies across a growing footprint

2016

Wolter Group LLC acquired Ellis Systems in 2016, allowing the Wolter Group of companies to expand its footprint in the rapidly evolving automated material management & storage industry.

2017

2017: Stephan Forklift Repair acquired

2019

Since merging with Wolter Group LLC in the summer of 2019, Kensar has grown its offerings to include pallet racking, training, automation and much more.

2020

2020: Integrity Industrial Equipment and A D Lift Truck acquired, expanding territory into Missouri and Southern Illinois.
