As a member of the Global Transportation team, you'll work on an international team that contributes to GE Aerospace's transportation & logistics excellence. This person will be responsible for supporting the Site Logistics Operations Lead to develop and implement consistent processes and oversee third party logistics teams at their assigned data center. This position requires communication skills, collaboration, prioritization skills, a proven track record exposed to process analysis and optimization, the understanding of logistics processes and systems, and experience with data analysis and logistics operations.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business management and/or any other business-related field, or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years logistics experience overseeing operations, team performance, and SLA adherence
* Experience working independently, prioritizing, and managing one's time
* Experience with ERP, TMS, CMS, WMS systems - Oracle, Excel or any other analytics tools

Responsibilities

* Plan and coordinate with third party logistics provider lead at the assigned data center to ensure site logistics requirements are met or exceeded. Work closely with third party lead to develop logistics support plans to include inventory accuracy, inventory movement and distribution, server rack movements, shipping and receiving, and any other processes as needed
* Identify gaps in operations and present solutions to standardize operations across Meta data center sites
* Develop, refine, and maintain documentation that captures and distributes the processes and policies for executing safe, effective, and efficient logistics operations within Meta data centers
* Build and support cross-functional relationships with internal partners drive effective communication channels supporting operations management
* Help produce monthly audits of compliance to ensure meeting all inventory controls
* Support month/quarter and year end requirement to ensure appropriate financial reporting
* Enable and support leaders to understand business requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements
* Drive inventory reconciliation process to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and correct errors impacting inventory movement
* Identify and implement process improvement and efficiency efforts at assigned data center and warehouse locations
* Raise the visibility of IBOS field issues that require better systemic controls to central logistics for the development of improved processes
* Work with field leads, vendors and contract labor to develop and execute action plans in the implementation of these new processes
* Partner with other Site Logistics Operations Specialists to share best practices, knowledge share, and drive efficiencies
* Monitor metrics highlighting performance and trends within the data center field and warehouse operations
* Support the execution of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, analyze discrepancies and assist teams to develop root cause corrective actions and trend improvements
* Help define and manage ongoing KPIs to measure process compliance and logistics operations performance

Work with Building Engineering Services (BES) Project Managers and other technical team members in support of the BES Market Sectors and Business groups that BES supports. The duties of the Project Coordinator may include any of the following:
* Assist BES Project Managers or Designees',
* Download required HDR project initiation documents and assist as directed to complete
* Download required HDR project execution documents and assist as directed to complete
* Update project financial records as directed
* Download project financial information as directed
* Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management throughout project

5+ years of relevant professional experience in Business Development for a Government Contractor.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Government Sales Operations Specialist to support our Federal, State, and Local government sales efforts. This role will focus on managing opportunities, quotes, deal registrations, reporting, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen understanding of government procurement processes, and the ability to ensure operational excellence across the entire government sales cycle.
Opportunity & Quote Management
· Create and maintain all Federal, State, and Local government opportunities and quotes in Salesforce.
· Administer the Government Deal Registration program, including maintaining the Deal Registration and Government Opportunity Tracker on the Teams Government page.
· Enter opportunity, quote, and sold opportunity information by year for Federal and State & Local markets.
· Review daily orders to ensure correct end-user ownership assignments.
· Update open opportunities quarterly, extending dates, closing, or adding notes as required.
Government Bid & Contract Support
· Create government bid opportunities and generate Master Dealer and Master Distribution quotes.
· Collaborate with distribution partners and Direct to Market partners on quoting, deal tracking, and documentation requirements.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for account managers regarding Federal opportunities, including opportunity notifications, deal registrations, procurement support, and related documentation needs.
· Manage Letters of Supply (LOS) and Authorized Reseller letters, coordinating with operations and legal for signatures and compliance.
· Maintain the customer proprietary site for secure order transmission and reporting.
Reporting & Data Management
· Generate monthly and quarterly sales and contract compliance reports, including requirements for the State specific contracts.
· Provide weekly Year-to-Date revenue and backlog data to the government team.
· Reconcile commission statements against revenue reports for accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
· Participate in CPG calls for Federal projects as needed, assisting with requirements gathering, TAA/BAA compliance, COO inquiries, and past-performance documentation.
· Review and process government orders for accuracy before routing them to the appropriate Inside Account Managers.
· Work with legal on SAM renewals and related compliance activities.
Lead Management & Customer Support
· Receive, review, and quote leads; escalate complex leads to appropriate government team members for action.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for order lookups when service issues arise, collaborating with technical support or Applications Engineers to confirm parts, check availability, and generate quotes.
Account Administration
· Create new Federal accounts in Salesforce as requested by Inside Account Managers, ensuring alignment with account standards and providing account information as needed.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Government Contracting, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
· 2+ years of experience in sales operations, government contracting, or related administrative support roles.
· Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local procurement processes strongly preferred.
· Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM), Microsoft Teams, and reporting tools required.
· Understanding of TAA, BAA, SAM, and other government compliance frameworks a plus.
· Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to attend trade shows and corporate meetings.
