Someone who can also do other basic repairs such as maintenance and brakes etc and willing to learn and grow. We work on most makes and models! We specialize in light duty diesel trucks. We also work on domestic and Asian cars and trucks. You may also be paired with a technician as an apprentice. Job training is available. Must have tools and experience, valid drivers license, have daily transportation. Work clean and keep your area clean. Handle your own responsibilities. Protect pit opening with bay net when not occupied by vehicle Use Echo System Perform visual inspection of vehicle undercarriage, document any unusual conditions Obtain correct oil filter, Drain oil, Inspect oil drain plug and gasket. Replace bottom-side oil filter, when applicable Check/fill gear boxes Perform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicable Assist with performing pressure and leak check Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions. Assist with performing pressure and leak check Lubricate chassis, when applicable Install a tamper seal on all plugs Assist with final safety and quality check Other Duties and Responsibilities In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms. Responsibilities: Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards Removal, installation, and servicing of components Assist in proper maintenance of shop and equipment Continued personal update training, maintaining ASE certifications Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Report any items that are out of stock to the Center Manager Capable of assuming responsibility and training general technicians Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and repair in a timely manner Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Maintain a safe environment while keeping the customer's vehicle clean Skills and Requirements Knowledge of electrical diagnostics Knowledge of testing sensors Ability to use a scanner Have a set of quality tools Experience on domestic and import vehicles (both early and late models) High school diploma or GED Minimum 5 years of experience as a Master Technician preferred.
