About Your Opportunity: Assist Payroll Manager to maintain multi-state company payroll system including proper taxation, labor distribution and reporting. Process timely and accurate field payroll. Prepare accurate tax filings and timely year end information. Work closely with human resources and the finance team on various projects. Warfel Construction is currently hiring a full-time position as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This position reports directly to the Superintendent, in addition to our Special Projects Manager, and will require strict adherence to all Warfel safety rules and regulations, including any site-specific necessities. Standard work hours are M - F, beginning at 7:00 AM through 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional Saturday work and overtime may be required. Travel to and from the jobsite varies; reliable transportation is required. This position does require the ability to work in ever-changing work environments, including variable weather conditions. About Your Opportunity: You will coordinate the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical aspects of the project from pre-construction through construction and post-construction phases. The Mechanical Estimator (HVAC/Plumbing) is responsible for preparing accurate mechanical cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role focuses on evaluating and pricing HVAC and plumbing systems and plays a critical part in project budgeting, value engineering, and bid strategies. The Mechanical Estimator will work closely with the Preconstruction, Operations, and MEP teams to support successful project pursuits and execution. About Your Opportunity As a Project Planner and Scheduler, you will play a key role in the development, updating, management, and reporting of all project schedules for construction activities from project pursuit phase through to closeout. You will be responsible for the continued development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Wohlsen's Scheduling Strategy with a goal of delivering 95% of Wohlsen projects on time as measured against the contractual substantial completion date. About Your Opportunity: You will coordinate the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical aspects of the project from pre-construction through construction and post-construction phases. You will assist the Project Team in all phases of the project. How You'll Contribute: Visit project sites assigned and provide site inspections of MEP installations. Monitor project for adherence to plans and specifications, contractual requirements, code compliance and compliance with industry accepted standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and NEC. Oversight of MEP installations to ensure quality control. Maintain work to complete/punch lists of MEP trades. Process and forward weekly activity report to the Project Executive, PM, PE, Superintendent, and direct supervisor. Participate in the submittal and change order process for MEP phases when needed. Assist the Project Team with the MEP coordination shop drawing process, and the MEP coordination in relation to the architectural drawings through all phases of the project.
