WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed during business hours 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Will be exposed to and working in weather depending on seasons. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: I. Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow. 2. Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards. 3. Maintains safe and clean work environment by education and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures. 4. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: I. Must possess a valid Montana State driver\'s license 2. Ability to follow oral/written instructions. 3. Must work well with co-workers. 4. Must be trustworthy 5. Must be able to work unsupervised. 6. Ability to occasionally and necessary to use sound judgment to solve problems and make decisions independently. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: I. Must be able to lift 20-50lbs. 2. Physical strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor, including frequent bending, walking, and heavy lifting. 3. Stamina to maintain continuous physical effort for the duration of the shift on a regular basis. OTHER: I. Directs work orders from tenants to proper departments. Receives incoming rent moneys which includes writing receipts and logging payments. Prepares and mails correspondence and forms. Distributes and accepts housing applications and verifying income received. Performs other related duties such as preparing sign in sheets and memorandums. Performs all other related duties as assigned by supervisor. I. Job Requirements and Difficulty of Work Requires strong verbal and written communication skills to direct customers and visitors and prepare correspondence. Requires basic arithmetic skills to calculate rent charges. Follows specific procedures and works on similar tasks. Requires the ability to use standard office equipment, personal computers and telephone systems. References used include Payment Register and housing lists. Minimum Requirements Requires high school diploma/GED and up to six months of experience, or equivalent. II. Responsibility Works under independently while performing receptionist duties. Meets with supervisor periodically to receive new assignments. Makes limited choices and decisions regarding the preparation of correspondence and forms. Error impact is typically minor and identified by incumbent or other staff. III. Personal Work Relationships Interacts primarily with housing authority visitors and customers to direct them to correct housing authority individual. IV. Physical Effort and Work Environment Works primarily in a standard office environment with no unusual physical demands or exposure to hazardous situations will be on a 90 day probationary period and must pass pre-employment drug screening.
