The animals, but that is the only pro.
The management - completely incompetent management, especially Ms. Davis - she berates the employees, throws temper tantrums, is like a child, and should be fired immediately.
Speding time with the really cool animals.
The Executive Director is ok, but does not realize how bad the manager is.
Fire Ms. Davis yesterday.
Practice prentending to like crazy people.
Probably a bit less than the average, but would be ok if they treated the employees like humans, rather than slaves.
Was ok, but the turnover is so high because of the manager, you never really get to know the co-workers.
Spending time with the animals.
It is located in a beautiful area and working with wolf dogs can be extremely enriching.
The current upper management is absolutely terrible. They are physically absent from the facility most of the time, yet are obsessive about long distance micromanagement. Employees must clear every action through them, and upper management has zero respect for their employees and volunteers. They will make efforts to constructively dismiss, or straight out fire, almost anyone (staff or volunteer) who disagrees with them or brings up a concern.
Getting to help rehabilitate the rescued wolf dogs.
The wolves are wonderful animals that became our entire lives.
The management leads with a toxic, verbally/emotionally abusive, fear-based approach. In less than 18 months atleast 24 staff and volunteers have been overturned.
Again, the wolves. The wolves are the only reason anybody works there.
