Wonderspring is seeking a Food Service Aide to join our vibrant team at our Star 4 New Market West Center! The work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Our center is renowned for its excellent preschool and toddler programs, and we're all about providing high-quality services to young children and their families.

What You'll Get to Do (and Have Fun Doing!)
Organize, prepare, and deliver breakfast, lunch, and snacks to classrooms, ensuring all meals align with the menu and accommodate dietary needs and allergies.
Monitor food and supply inventory; place weekly orders per CACFP, Kremmer's, and Novick guidelines. Verify deliveries against invoices and promptly address any discrepancies.
Complete daily meal count forms and inventory sheets. Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with food program requirements.
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and appliances regularly. Perform monthly deep-cleaning tasks and adhere to all health and safety standards.
Check and log refrigerator and freezer temperatures daily, reporting any issues immediately.
Update and distribute food allergy and preference lists. Ensure all classrooms are stocked with necessary dining supplies.
Your Special Skills & Qualities
Minimum, High School Diploma/GED
Food Manager's Certification, required
Abide by all CACFP requirements
Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents/guardians
Ability to maintain high level standards of confidentiality regarding center, staff, and family matters.
Proficient in managing a multicultural classroom environment.
