DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as Sound Engineer and Stage Manager for all performances and activities:
Run house audio and Monitor mixes from Front of House mix location.
Provide National Park Service with pertinent show information.
Lead a team in day of show operations, such as, but not limited to:
Loading in and setting up Artist equipment and performance elements.
Taking down and loading out Artist equipment and performance elements.
Setting up and taking down all theatrical equipment, stage sets, props, and audio.
Maintain the stage in a neat and orderly condition.
Ensure that all equipment is in good and proper working condition.
Keep inventory of theatrical expendable inventories, such as, Gaff Tape, glue, power/hand tools, etc.
Coordinate with the Manager of Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods, to ensure that sound levels, balance and mix are within acceptable parameters.
Compile all pertinent artist, management and/or agency contact information from the Wolf Trap Foundation programming staff.
Under the supervision of the Wolf Trap Foundation Manager, Children's Theatre-In-the-Woods:
Advance production elements with Artists, or their representatives, and ensure that they fully understand all venue guidelines and capabilities.
Review artist stage plots and audio input lists.
Generate and distribute daily schedules.
Generate production “one sheets” for all performances and distribute.
Distribute production stage plots, audio input lists, and all production support documents.
Maintain production database with all necessary show files.
Report maintenance issues or damage of all theatrical equipment to Wolf Trap Foundation Production Managers and implement any repairs as directed.
Complete After Performance Reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have 3-5 years' experience mixing live performances.
Must have strong back ground in digital consoles and audio best practices.
Ability to read contracts, stage plots, and audio input lists.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Must be able to work early mornings, days, and weekends.
Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
Must possess a valid US state issued driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move quickly, and stand for long periods of time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position exists to provide support in lab research (molecular biology techniques and cell culture work) to the principle investigator and several graduate students and to maintain laboratory supplies and equipment. Specific projects such as: 1) Studying the role of MDA9 scaffold and signaling protein in breast cancer progression, sensitivity to chemotherapies, and antitumor immune response; 2) Studying epigenetic mechanisms on how cancer cells recover from from chemotherapy exposure; and 3.) further developing humanized mouse models. Project assignments will change as priorities of the laboratory change.
Day-to-day duties will include general lab maintenance including - ordering supplies, stocking shelves, cleaning glassware, autoclaving biohazard waste, cleaning the lab as needed. Experimental duties include molecular biology techniques including qPCR, Western blotting, cell culture assays, colony counting, etc…Analysis of data including the data entry into excel and similar programs, and simple data organization and formatting. Maintenance of a detailed and clear lab notebook.

Position Overview:
Learns to understand and follow departmental policies, rules, and instructions in emergency medical care delivery.
Reads, understands, and retains the information in technical materials, rules, regulations, and procedures.
