POSITION SUMMARY The Staff Augmentation Technician will serve as a dedicated technical partner to the client's internal IT team, providing expert support across their Microsoft cloud environment. This role focuses on high-level escalation assistance, environment oversight, strategic guidance, and project collaboration. The engineer will identify improvement opportunities, advise on best practices, and support operational initiatives that enhance security, efficiency, and productivity within the Microsoft ecosystem. This is a full-time temporary position supporting a single client. The initial assignment is anticipated to last six months. RESPONSIBILITIES Escalation Support Act as the senior escalation point for Microsoft-related issues the client's internal helpdesk cannot resolve. Troubleshoot advanced problems across: Microsoft 365 Azure AD / Entra ID Intune Teams Exchange Online Provide guidance and work alongside the internal team to fully resolve issues. Ensure knowledge transfer so the internal helpdesk continues to grow capabilities. Environment Oversight Provide expert oversight and recommendations on the client's Microsoft cloud environment. Identify configuration gaps, inefficiencies, or risks - and propose practical solutions. Offer ongoing environmental recommendations without taking on compliance, audit prep, or full administrative accountability. Initial Environment Review Conduct a high-level assessment of the client's Microsoft environment.
