Who we are looking for:
You will primarily provide engineering support on drinking water, wastewater, recycled water, and water resources projects. This position offers the opportunity to direct and collaborate with a team of junior and mid-level staff while providing the ability to consistently work with mid- and senior-level technical staff and leadership across the organization. The ideal candidate is a technically focused individual with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and constructing drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and systems and experienced in engaging with client stakeholders such as operators, superintendents, and public officials to understand how to support their needs. Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems is preferred. You will lead the technical delivery of multiple projects, must be familiar with local and federal regulations, and be able to support marketing and proposal efforts.

Summary
Partner is seeking full-time Building Science ProjectEngineers across the country to complete Property & Facility Condition Assessments and subsequent due diligence reports for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)

Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)
Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client

Compensation
1099 consultants will be paid a negotiated flat rate by project.

**Job Description**
AECOM is seeking an experienced **Aviation ProjectEngineer** to serve as the technical lead for airfield design projects. You will oversee engineering design delivery for major airfield improvements at large/medium/small hub airports including LAX, SFO, SMF, SJC, SNA, OAK, LGB, SAN, PSP, SBD, and others. This role goes beyond project execution - it's about owning delivery from planning through construction, managing complex phasing and regulatory constraints, and shaping long-term infrastructure investments. **How You'll Contribute**
+ Lead airfield design from concept through final construction documents
+ Direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering packages for paving, grading, drainage, utilities, lighting, and signage
+ Develop and seal construction drawings in alignment with FAA Advisory Circulars
+ Coordinate design and technical input across planners, contractors, clients, and subconsultants

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a ProjectEngineer in Sacramento, CA.
Candidates will be expected to work with and provide support for the on-site Construction Manager or the Senior Construction Manager and associated support team members including estimators, CEQA consultants, engineers, architects, contractors on various projects, including but not limited to, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Assists in preparation of construction monthly progress reports for presentations at team and executive session meetings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing construction data and trends.

Maintains project control logs including Submittal, RFIs, PCOs, COs, Owner Requested Changes, Payments, Deficiency Notices, etc. in the Project's MIS and confirms logs with Contractor on a weekly basis.
Maintains and distributes current contract plans and specifications to the Team. Ensures RFIs are posted and current for the Inspectors' use.
Confirms contractor's maintenance of record drawings and as-builts.
Assists in coordinating field activities with State Inspectors, including coordinating field activities with the Team, observes work in the field and assists DGS' Inspectors as necessary, and assists DGS inspectors to prepare and manage Deficiency Notices.
Develops Owner estimates for proposed change orders (PCOs), prepares PCO documentation, and provides evaluation of Contractor proposals when requested.
Reviews and provide comments on Contractor's monthly schedule updates.
Monitors the response time for the Owner's (Action) submittal reviews and facilitate prompt closure to all open items.
Monitors the response time for the Owner's RFI reviews and facilitate prompt closure to all open items.
Assists in preparing meeting minutes.
Assists in processing pay applications.
Assists in coordinating site access and traffic management.
Assists in monitoring Contactor compliance with the EIR MMRP requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience and/or education.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrate experience and knowledge in project scheduling, estimating (with Means or Saylor or similar manuals), technical report writing, developing technical scopes of work and change order control processing.
With knowledge in working with construction MIS such as Prolog, ConstructWare or similar systems.
Demonstrate proactive critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to use working knowledge of the working environment to meet established goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS
Manage multiple projects concurrently
Oversee quality control throughout the project's life cycle
Coordinating the efforts of Partner team members, and at times Partner Associates (PAs) in order to deliver projects according to plan
Cultivate strong relationships with the Partner team members and the Client in order to successfully deliver a quality product on time
Conduct occasional inspections
Occasionally write reports
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform quality assurance (QA) review and quality control (QC) of all portions of the project, including text and appendices.
Communicate with client relationship managers (RM) re, Professional Associates (PAs) regarding scope-of-work (SOW) and client expectations throughout the term of the project.
Effectively communicate project expectations (i.e. Client-specific SOW, templates) to team members and assessors in a timely and clear fashion throughout the course of the project.
Provide solid recommendations and solutions to RMs and clients, while understanding the assessment's potential impact on the transaction process.
Identify and resolve issues with projects.
Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail), recommendations to the RM and Client.
Manage client follow-up, questions, and concerns.
Communicate and coordinate follow-up questions with PAs during the review process
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members.
Place requests with Project Coordinator (PC) Group for Partner Associates' engagements and vendor-provided items.
Coordinate and respond to client requests for changes in project scope.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Excellent communication skills (internal and external)

Understand the concept of building science as it pertains to due diligence

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in architecture, construction management, and or engineering discipline.
5+ years relevant experience in construction management or due diligence services.
5+ years experience conducting property inspections and writing associated assessments
1 to 2 years performing quality or peer reviews on property assessments
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen.
Compensation:
Salary range $75,000 to $99,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
