HealthCues - A Section 125 plan is a plan under IRS regulations that allows employees to set aside
a portion of their paycheck through automatic deduction each pay period for spending on certain
health related benefits. Money put into a Section 125 plan is “pre-tax”, meaning these funds are not
included when we calculate how much in taxes to withhold from your paycheck, lowering the total
amount of taxes you pay. You will notice the amount you paid as a premium is more than the
amount returned to you by HealthCues, but your paycheck is still more than what it used to be. The
reason for this is because the amount of tax savings you receive is greater than the cost of the
HealthCues benefit, causing your take-home pay to increase.

Part Time Benefits
