Job DescriptionAs part of our team, you’ll perform complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. This position reports to the Service Manager.

What you’ll focus on:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology
Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders
Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on time submittal of information
May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
Operate and maintain vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Conduct or support customer clinics
Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
Other duties as assigned
What we need from you:
Ability to perform service repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures
Experience working with the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Strong communication skill verbally and in writing
Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities
Valid driver’s license required

Demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics
Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR™ or other computer based diagnostic repair tools
CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)

The hours of work and days are from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. During peak seasons (fall and spring), every other Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
