Word of Life Bible Institute in Forest, Virginia offers a unique, well-rounded, Bible-focused program that may be used as a foundation for ministerial, pastoral and other studies. The Word of Life Bible Institute's program constitutes an immersion in the entire Bible. Not only do classes focus on the religious, spiritual and historical contexts of the Old and New Testaments, they also discuss how the Bible is applicable to one's life. In the final year, students focus on the skills needed to work in the ministry. One part of this study requires that they engage in public speaking and give speeches and presentations about Biblical texts and their relevance. They also engage in campus ministry, serving in a variety of settings including camps, youth groups and locations overseas. The intention of Word of Life's curriculum is to prepare students for further undergraduate and graduate work in ministerial, theological or pastoral studies, fields which many Word of Life graduates pursue. Financial aid resources include federal and private loans and scholarships for eligible students.

Pros of working at Word of Life Fellowship

Being part of something big.

Cons of working at Word of Life Fellowship

Poor leadership. More politicians then true believers. Marketing more then really caring for the purpose of it’s existence. Lots of cover up among the leaders on the expense of the employees. Lots of grose hypocrisy starting from the top: Don Lough. Great declarations of live but no compassion for people.
