What Does A Word Processing Specialist Do At Ricoh Americas Corporation

* Utilize software specific to the legal industry, such as DocXtools, Innova, Best Authority, etc. to execute tasks.
* Create or edit legal documents to specifications using expert word processing and advanced software knowledge.
* Transcribe tapes, scan and clean documents, and convert documents to/from different software packages as required.
* Produce financial tables, charts, graphs, tables, presentations, and other documents as requested.
* Recover/restore corrupted document files.
* Handle coordination of workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and negotiating deadlines.
* Monitor workflow to ensure jobs are completed on time, efficiently and accurately..
* Review the work of other team members as part of the quality assurance (QA) process.
* Assess incoming requests, selecting the best resources for successful completion.
* Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
* Train new employees on policies and procedures.
* Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
* Evaluate staff performance and create development plans as necessary
* Assist with the training and development of employees.
* Adhere to Ricoh policy in addition to client site policy.
