Field Operations & Monitoring

These duties include performing site checks, adjusting equipment per the direction of the control room and assisting the maintenance and other support groups for optimal efficiency of the plant. The Process Field Operator will be responsible for safely monitoring, maintaining, and operating process equipment in an active Waste Plastics Pyrolysis Facility. Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.
Responsibilities
Safely monitor, maintain, and operate all process equipment
Maintain unit safety and housekeeping standards
Performs servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance of assigned equipment, including alarms and Process Safety Management (PSM) testing
Loading for process products in railcars and/or truck
Monitor unit operation and take appropriate action to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and Company standards as they pertain to Environmental, Health and Safety
Start-up/Shutdown of plant equipment
Adjust controls to operate equipment in the recommended or prescribed operating ranges
De-pressure equipment, lines and vessels as need for maintenance and daily operations
Read, monitor and record various operating conditions such as pressure, temperature, hours of operations, fuel consumed, water levels, etc.
Ensure regulatory compliance and record keeping requirements are met and continually monitored
Visually inspect equipment and controls at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment or lubrication
Follow procedures at all times according to all Standard Operating Procedures and plant procedures
Implement and carryout LO/TO procedures to accommodate operations daily needs
Adhere to all OSHA and plant mandated HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies
Safety Awareness: Ability to recognize and identify potential hazards. Evaluates changes in work environment with respect to impact on safety of self and others. Understands potential threats created by deviation from safety procedures and improper use of tools and equipment. Uses personal protection equipment. Uses tools and equipment in compliance with manuals and training. Calls attention to potential and actual hazardous conditions as they arise. Demonstrates knowledge of lockout/tag out procedures. Stops work if there are unsafe working conditions.

Position Summary
As a Field Operator, you'll be responsible for safe and efficient operation, driving, and maintenance of cementing equipment at the wellsite. This role includes preparing equipment, supporting rig-in/out activities, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards. The job typically involves 20% driving, 50% operating, and 30% maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain cementing service equipment in the yard and at the wellsite.
Drive heavy trucks with a Class A CDL (with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements).
Perform rig-in/rig-out procedures and monitor equipment during operations.
Mix chemicals and support pumping operations as directed.
Monitor gauges and control panels to ensure accurate pressure and flow.
Complete and maintain accurate documentation (pump logs, chemical tallies, maintenance checklists, etc.).
Conduct pre/post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Mentor and support less experienced crew members.
Uphold all safety protocols, including stop work authority and hazard reporting.
Attend safety meetings and adhere to company procedures and standards.
Lifts, carries, moves and assembles iron pipes and equipment to / from trucks and well site.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational goals.

Skills & Knowledge
Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime and work on call 24/7.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Transport of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and basic mechanical repairs.
Able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and MVR review.
