What You'll Be Doing:As a Slitter Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a slitter machine and supporting production operations.
Your core responsibilities may include:
Reviewing work instructions to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Operating a Slitter Machine to slit-to-width based on customer specifications (can train if needed, but experience is a plus)
Removing scrap and emptying hoppers as needed
Assisting the packager as needed to band material according to customer requirements
Cleaning and maintaining housekeeping of the MBL area
