The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for retaining and further developing existing and prospective customer relationships through maintaining and selling Vertafore products and services into designated Vertafore strategic accounts. Core Requirements and Responsibilities: Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following: Expand Vertafore footprint by selling Vertafore products and services into a named list of accounts and prospects. Retain existing revenue through building and maintaining high level relationships to improve customer satisfaction. Develop and Execute Vertafore sales strategy with solid understanding of the marketplace, customer strategic direction, Vertafore products and the solution selling process. Present complex, solution-selling techniques at the C-Suite level Develop strong relationships with key senior decision makers and influencers within customers and prospects. Effectively communicate and solve customer escalations. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure a high level of success and a seamless customer experience. Regularly perform against individual monthly and/or quarterly activity targets tied to revenue expansion and retention. Create plans and strategies for developing new business with process, expanding business within existing customers and driving outcomes that support the customers business goals and objectives. Chart and deliver timely and accurate forecasting and pipeline management. Ensure value-selling methodologies are leveraged to process and track opportunities. Create and communicate effectively on the financial aspects of a sale. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven track record of achieving goals and quotas. Maintain a deep understanding of the Vertafore product portfolio, with a focus on solutions provided by Vertafore and similar platforms. Ability to make recommendations to customers that align business needs to technology and services. Ability to stay informed on industry trends, market changes and competitor activities. Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain customer confidence. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong, meaningful client relationships. Understanding of Salesforce.com and other key sales technologies used for Business Development, Opportunity creation and activity tracking. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Qualifications: 6-8 years of related software sales and account management experience, preferably with 2-3 of those years of experience supporting strategic accounts. Experience within a multi-dimensional operating environment is essential (i.e., not a mono-line, single market environment). Proven success in professional sales within the InsurTech or Financial Services industry. Insurance experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Assess how competitors and adjacent markets structure pricing; offer data-driven recommendations Cross-Functional Alignment Ensure tight partnership with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align messaging, enablement, and product direction. Drive consistency across the funnel-from roadmap narrative → marketing → sales execution. Deliver high-quality executive communications, including market briefs, competitive updates, and portfolio insights. Portfolio & Strategy Support Participate in TAM analysis, customer segmentation, and portfolio-level market sizing. Provide market signals and competitive insights to help shape product themes and strategic bets. Support the evaluation of product gaps, expansion opportunities, and market-fit assessments. Contribute to product investment discussions, ROI modeling, and business-case creation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 8-10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing, product strategy, or a related role; govtech or public-sector experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated strength in product positioning, solution messaging, and competitive/market analysis. Experience participating in pricing and packaging discussions or supporting monetization initiatives. Excellent executive communication skills; able to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners. Proven ability to translate market insights into clear go-to-market direction. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in govtech, public sector, or highly regulated enterprise SaaS (permitting, licensing, justice, utilities, etc.). ABOUT THE ROLE The Technical Trainer designs, develops, and delivers engaging product and user training focused on the Accela Civic Platform. This role emphasizes the creation of video and eLearning content that helps customers, partners, and internal teams gain the skills needed to implement and manage Accela solutions effectively. The trainer may also conduct live, instructor-led virtual sessions on specific Civic Platform topics to support interactive learning and reinforce key concepts. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop engaging technical training materials for Civic Platform products, including video tutorials, eLearning modules, and simulations. Deliver live, virtual instructor-led training sessions for select product areas as needed. Software Engineer, Ascentis Corporation, a UKG Company, Lowell, Massachusetts (Remote) Will work as part of an Agile team primarily focused on automation in software test & deployment. Will design test automation and execution plans, learn and overcome technical constraints and will deliver products that meet or exceed the quality standards set for the compliance, functional and performance requirements of the Company's software solutions. Specific duties include: + Reviewing user stories and requirements and providing feedback related to testability and effort estimate from a quality assurance perspective. + Building and maintaining automation framework and test cases and continuing to increasing test coverage for existing and new products. + Running automation test runs and manual test runs - identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs found internally and reported externally to the organization. + Designing and building test plans and strategies, proposing new tools, to ensure continuity of release quality and ensuring proper test coverage of product functionality based on risk, importance, and criticality of product features from a customer point of view. + Ensuring that automation framework allows applications to meet systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues. + Preparing and delivering reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas. + Collaborating with software and systems research and development in application testing including applying system, unit, load, and acceptance testing methods. + Making recommendations to team members and product owners for quality improvement of software applications. + Preparing and managing release notes, as well as validating the quality of release content. + Tracking quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts, as required by Senior Quality Assurance Engineers or Architects. + Learning and adapting quickly, developing/coding using deployment tools and support deployment automation and environments. Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, IT or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Software QA Test Engineer. Must also have 3 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement) working with the following: + Robot Framework automation, GitHub and Selenium Web Driver; + Performing backend and data driven testing using SQL queries on Oracle RDBMS; + Jira implementation for User stories tracking, Bug filing and tracking; + User Acceptance testing and Functional testing performed on the application under test; + Performing Security Testing to ensure that users' security was maintained throughout the application.
