ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Operations team is critical to our success and we are looking for a committed, diligent, and passionate part-time Lead Operations Associate to help support our in-store lottery ticket operations. Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be based on-site in Columbus, Ohio. This may be the perfect opportunity if you're interested in operations management, growing your career at a start-up and playing a key role in the growth of a business!
Schedule: Hours will vary depending on business need.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Be our ultimate lottery ticket processor by fulfilling customer orders in an organized and systematic manner
Follow open and/or closing procedures for our retail and fulfillment location
Maintain the regular replenishment of shelves with products, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability
Ensure in-store equipment remains in good operating condition
Troubleshoot technical issues on printing/scanning equipment
Escalate issues, concerns, and feedback as appropriate in a timely manner to the supervisor on duty
Participate in special ad-hoc projects
Adhere to established operating procedures to maintain quality standards
YOU IDEALLY HAVE:
A minimum of a High School degree
Prior experience in retail operations
The willingness to work flexible hours as needed, which may include extended shifts in the day or night and/or occasional weekends or holidays
An interest in general operations management

We are currently looking for a Night Shift Operator to support Renewable Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. This person is responsible for the operation of all equipment and all process controls associated with processing (mixing and blending) liquid and dry materials according to customer specifications. This position has a starting pay between $20-22 per hour, full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), and 3 weeks' vacation. We operate on 12-hour shifts, 6:00pm - 6:00am. Training would be on day shift (6:00am - 6:00pm), before moving to night shift. Currently, the shift schedule is as follows.
First week is 4 days on (M-Th)
Then 6 days off (F-W)
Second week is 3 days (Th, Fr, Sat)
Third week is 3 day (again Th, Fr, Sat)
One day off only (Sunday)
Fourth week is 3 days (M, Tu, Wed)
The schedule resets every 4 weeks
This schedule provides 160 hours of straight time equivalent pay every 4 weeks
Wk 1 - 40 reg + 8 OT which is 12 regular hours = 52

POSITION FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator of Membership & Operations with the oversight, training, and supervision of Facility Operations staff, including hiring, scheduling, and completion of bi-weekly payroll
Lead all disciplinary meetings with part time student staff
Conduct part time staff meetings with assistance of Coordinator of Membership & Operations
Create, develop, and enforce policies and procedures, budget oversight, and revenue projections as it relates to Facility Operations
Organize and implement strategies to manage Rec Automation software to ease overall customer service operation with regards to access control, membership sales, and program registrations
Inventory, research, and purchase fitness equipment for the facility as well as equipment issue for patron use
Assist the Coordinator of Membership & Operations staff with the planning and execution of our annual maintenance shutdown week
Attend mandatory meetings including full-staff and assigned committee meetings
Secondary Responsibilities:
Attend staff meetings and trainings hosted by the Campus Recreation Services department.
Serve as an active member on an Internal Committee.
Lead American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Professional Rescuer certification courses.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Exercise Science, Higher Education, or closely related field is preferred
Acceptance into the College of Graduate Studies at Cleveland State University
Current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid or ability to obtain prior to the start of employment
One year of undergraduate experience in campus recreation and knowledge of basic practices in recreational sports
Leadership and supervisory abilities of undergraduate students and interns
Ability to work independently and as a part of a professional team that collaborates effectively with colleagues

Warehouse Returns: You will be operating material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse. You will be matching item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, checking in returned product and tagging it appropriate. You will be operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on Material handling equipment.
Shipping: You'll be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets. You'll be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace as you go.
Please note, as an SC2 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles, or SC1 roles, as needed.

A Cafe Supervisor in our BNC Starbucks should support the management team, be a resource for all departments, a model for customer service, a driver for sales, and a skillful problem solver. As a BNC Starbucks Licensee Café Supervisor you will spend the majority of your time on the sales floor coaching and modeling Wow customer service. You will help train and oversee the daily work activity of team members in the Café. You must be knowledgeable about cafe and store operations; provide outstanding customer service; help enforce loss prevention and safe food handling procedures; and ensure that the Café is maintained.
Expectations:
Spend the majority of your time in the cafe delivering, coaching, and modeling exceptional customer service.
Maintain a working knowledge of all café operations and assist in the preparation and serving of a variety of hot and cold food and drinks following prescribed recipes and techniques.
Assist with assigning work and providing focused direction to café team members to ensure the set up and restocking of displays, wrap, label, date, and rotate food items for sale is executed daily.
Help resolve customer issues and complaints and escalating to manager, when necessary.
Operate equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies and perform preventive maintenance.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards. Food handling or safety certification may be required in some locations.
Replenish customer service stations, order/receive supplies or products, and take out trash.
Assist with processing sales transactions.
Part-time positions require availability to work on a weekly basis year round. Schedules may be set or vary to meet the needs of the store an hours will be less than 30 per week.
Routine housekeeping including, for example, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal.
Physical Demands:
Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and/or products.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
Frequent lifting.
Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Ohio Pay Transparency Information (Only applicable in Ohio stores):
Pay: Part-time BNC Starbucks Licensee Supervisor pay range $13.00/hour.

Qualifications
Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
Prior supervisor or manager experience.
High-energy, friendly personality, with strong communication skills to interact with a variety of people.
Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
