Senior Revenue Operations Manager
Workstream job in San Francisco, CA
Workstream is a mission-driven company building the all-in-one HR, payroll, and hiring platform for managing the hourly workforce. There are 2.7 billion hourly workers, making up 80% of the global workforce, but this market has been heavily underserved by technology and deserves better. Workstream has been purpose-built for the hourly workforce from day one so that these businesses and their employees can thrive.
Our customers include leading brands from multiple sectors, including Burger King, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers. We are a high growth series B company and quickly expanding our product portfolio to deliver on our vision. We are backed by legendary VCs and industry experts like Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.
Grow With Us
Workstream is looking for a Revenue Operations Manager to be a foundational partner to our go-to-market (GTM) teams. This is a strategic and high impact individual contributor role, with potential to grow to be a leader on the team. You will own the strategy, design, and execution of Workstream's revenue engine. You'll work closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Post-Sales (customer success, implementation, and support), providing the data-driven insights, process optimizations, and strategic guidance needed to accelerate our growth and prepare the organization for scale.
This is more than a technical or analytical role; we're looking for a creative problem-solver with a strong business mind. You'll be a trusted advisor, leading complex, cross-functional projects and bringing a consultative approach to our most critical business questions. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone ready to build, iterate, and drive tangible results in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time, office-based role requiring presence 5 days a week to foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at the Menlo office, and Wednesday and Thursday at the San Francisco office.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business Partnership
* Act as a strategic partner to GTM leadership, providing data-driven recommendations on topics such as territory and quota planning, incentive design, and market segmentation.
* Lead complex, cross-functional projects from ideation to implementation, such as defining new GTM motions, refining pricing strategies, or optimizing the customer journey.
* Build and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting that provide clear, actionable insights into pipeline health, sales performance, and revenue metrics for leadership.
* Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify and address bottlenecks, pinpoint growth opportunities, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Process & Systems Optimization
* Design and implement scalable processes and workflows across the revenue organization to improve efficiency and drive consistent performance.
* Develop and document best practices, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to ensure operational rigor and consistency.
* Manage the annual planning process for GTM teams, collaborating with leaders and finance to align on goals and resource allocation.
* Support the optimization of our GTM technology stack (e.g., CRM, automation tools, reporting platforms), ensuring data integrity and a seamless user experience for our GTM teams.
Revenue Performance & Enablement
* Identify opportunities for automation and workflow enhancements to reduce manual work and free up time for our GTM teams to focus on core revenue-generating activities.
* Monitor and measure the adoption of new initiatives, using feedback to continuously iterate and improve.
* Provide ongoing coaching and support to GTM teams, using data to help leaders and reps improve performance and achieve targets.
What You Bring
* 4-7 years of experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment, with a strong background in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CS Operations, or Business Operations. We also value backgrounds in management consulting or investment banking-turned start-up operator.
* Strategic & independent thinker: You're a self-starter who can turn ambiguity into clear, actionable plans. You're driven by the success of the business and have a strong bias for action. No task is too small for you.
* Data savvy & impartial: You're confident translating data into a compelling narrative. You have strong business judgment and use data to inform decisions without bias.
* Technical proficiency: You have advanced proficiency in Excel with SQL knowledge for independent data analysis and system building. You are very familiar with B2B SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, expansion revenue, unit economics) and feel comfortable leading conversations with company leadership around these metrics.
* Creative and structured problem-solver: You ask great questions and can think beyond standard solutions. You're excited to dive into the details and understand the front-line reality to find the best way forward - while ensuring solutions are structured and scalable.
* Exceptional communicator & leadership presence: You can present complex ideas clearly and persuasively, and you have a track record of effective stakeholder management, especially with senior executives and leaders. You are not afraid to bring an opposing perspective and facilitate healthy debate to drive toward a robust, aligned decision.
How to be successful in this role
We are looking for someone who has high EQ and high IQ, sets the bar high and expects greatness from themselves and those they work with, and has a bias for action (we are a startup!). We've been scaling fast and we are looking for someone who is excited about owning a function that is continuously shifting. Come run with us!

* Passion for restaurants, hospitality, or small business entrepreneurship (bonus if you've worked in or around restaurants)
* Video editing skills (nice to have, but not required)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to be based in our Bay Area offices 5 days per week
* Please include content samples and/or a link to your portfolio

Auto-ApplyGTM Engineer
Grow With Us
Workstream is looking for a GTM Engineer to design and build the data foundation for our outbound ICP and lead scoring engine. This role will own the architecture, pipelines, and data models needed to ingest millions of external signals (reviews, marketplace listings, website data, POS integrations), transform them into usable insights, and feed predictive scoring models that will directly guide our sales and marketing teams. You'll sit at the intersection of data engineering, growth, and go-to-market strategy, enabling smarter targeting and more scalable outbound.
This is more than a back-end engineering role; we're looking for someone who can move fast, think creatively, and take ownership of a net-new project with direct business impact. You'll collaborate with data science, RevOps, and GTM leaders to bring the system to life-and you'll be the single-threaded owner of its success.
This is a full-time, office-based role requiring presence 5 days a week to foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams - Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at the Menlo office, and Wednesday and Thursday at the San Francisco office.
Day in the Life
Data Infrastructure & Pipelines
Design and implement a scalable data warehouse and ETL pipelines to consolidate large volumes of third-party and internal data
Build reliable data models that capture firmographics, technographics, marketplace volume, location signals, and outreach history
Ensure data quality, deduplication, and enrichment processes are automated and scalable
Lead Scoring & ICP System
Partner with data science to productionize account scoring models (Expected GMV, E-Win Rate, etc.)
Continuously expand and refine the dataset by adding new signals (reviews, POS adoption, competitive presence)
Ensure scoring outputs integrate cleanly into Salesforce and other GTM systems to drive real-time usage
Business Enablement
Collaborate with GTM leaders to align the scoring system with outbound workflows, BDR routing, and marketing campaigns
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the system serves multiple teams (Sales, SDRs, Marketing).
Support experimentation with outbound messaging by capturing feedback data and routing it into the scoring loop.
Who You Are
4-7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
Strong command of SQL and Python for building and automating data workflows
Experience designing and maintaining data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and building pipelines from scratch
Familiarity with integrating data into Salesforce or other CRMs via APIs, Bulk API, or reverse ETL tools
A creative, hacker mindset: comfortable sourcing and cleaning messy external datasets, using scrapers, APIs, and enrichment tools
Ability to operate independently with limited structure-comfortable owning a greenfield project end-to-end
Strong business judgment and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Must be willing to work in-office 5 times a week: in Menlo Park on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and in San Francisco on Wednesday & Thursday
Nice to Have
Experience with lead scoring, ICP modeling, or sales intelligence systems
Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other data pipeline orchestration tools
Exposure to lightweight ML frameworks (XGBoost, logistic regression) for predictive modeling
Prior startup experience where you've built data systems from scratch
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Establish a reliable, scalable data foundation that consolidates external signals and internal activity into one source of truth
Deliver an ICP and lead scoring system that is actively used by sales and marketing to prioritize accounts and improve outbound efficiency
Create clear pathways for integrating scores and insights into Salesforce and other GTM tools so adoption is seamless
Build a repeatable process for expanding the system with new data sources, ensuring it continues to get smarter and more valuable over time
Earn trust across data science and GTM by moving fast, showing tangible business impact, and setting a high bar for data quality
Position the system as a long-term growth engine, not just a one-off project, with room to evolve into broader RevOps and go-to-market intelligence
Working at Workstream
We operate with urgency, ownership, and a growth mindset
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role-we value accountability, flexibility, and getting results.
If you thrive in high-growth environments and are passionate about building from scratch, we'd love to connect

GTM Engineer
Grow With Us
Workstream is looking for a GTM Engineer to design and build the data foundation for our outbound ICP and lead scoring engine.
* Design and implement a scalable data warehouse and ETL pipelines to consolidate large volumes of third-party and internal data
* Build reliable data models that capture firmographics, technographics, marketplace volume, location signals, and outreach history
* Ensure data quality, deduplication, and enrichment processes are automated and scalable
Lead Scoring & ICP System
* Partner with data science to productionize account scoring models (Expected GMV, E-Win Rate, etc.)
* Continuously expand and refine the dataset by adding new signals (reviews, POS adoption, competitive presence)
* Ensure scoring outputs integrate cleanly into Salesforce and other GTM systems to drive real-time usage
Business Enablement
* Collaborate with GTM leaders to align the scoring system with outbound workflows, BDR routing, and marketing campaigns
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the system serves multiple teams (Sales, SDRs, Marketing).
* Support experimentation with outbound messaging by capturing feedback data and routing it into the scoring loop.
Who You Are
* 4-7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data science in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
* Strong command of SQL and Python for building and automating data workflows
* Experience designing and maintaining data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and building pipelines from scratch
* Familiarity with integrating data into Salesforce or other CRMs via APIs, Bulk API, or reverse ETL tools
* A creative, hacker mindset: comfortable sourcing and cleaning messy external datasets, using scrapers, APIs, and enrichment tools
* Ability to operate independently with limited structure-comfortable owning a greenfield project end-to-end
* Strong business judgment and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Must be willing to work in-office 5 times a week: in Menlo Park on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and in San Francisco on Wednesday & Thursday
Nice to Have
* Experience with lead scoring, ICP modeling, or sales intelligence systems
* Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other data pipeline orchestration tools
* Exposure to lightweight ML frameworks (XGBoost, logistic regression) for predictive modeling
* Prior startup experience where you've built data systems from scratch
What Success Looks Like in This Role
* Establish a reliable, scalable data foundation that consolidates external signals and internal activity into one source of truth
* Deliver an ICP and lead scoring system that is actively used by sales and marketing to prioritize accounts and improve outbound efficiency
* Create clear pathways for integrating scores and insights into Salesforce and other GTM tools so adoption is seamless
* Build a repeatable process for expanding the system with new data sources, ensuring it continues to get smarter and more valuable over time
* Earn trust across data science and GTM by moving fast, showing tangible business impact, and setting a high bar for data quality
* Position the system as a long-term growth engine, not just a one-off project, with room to evolve into broader RevOps and go-to-market intelligence
Working at Workstream
* We operate with urgency, ownership, and a growth mindset
* This is not a traditional 9-to-5 role-we value accountability, flexibility, and getting results.
* If you thrive in high-growth environments and are passionate about building from scratch, we'd love to connect
What We Offer
* A mission-driven and value-based company dedicated to empower deskless workers and local businesses
* An early employee opportunity at a Series B hyper-growth startup; work with the founding team and industry veterans to accelerate your career
* Competitive salary and equity
* Work directly with the founding team and industry veterans to accelerate your career

* Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision. We pay 95% of premiums for employees and 85% for dependents
* In-office amenities and stocked kitchen
* 401(k) Plan
