**Qualifications:**

**Position Title:** Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer
**Location:** Washington DC Capital Region
**Travel:** 50-75% required
**Position Summary:**
The Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer is responsible for supporting tasks related to radio frequency authorizations and spectrum planning. This role involves preparing new authorizations, modifying or deleting existing records to align with evolving organizational requirements, and developing frequency plans to improve interoperability among organizational components and key partners. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform RF propagation analysis, coverage modeling, and link budget calculations using tools such as Motorola's Propagation Modeling Software, ATDI, or iBwave.

+ Analyze RF system performance data (RSSI, SINR, BER) and adjust system parameters to resolve performance issues or optimize network coverage.
