Position Summary:
WWF seeks a creative and community-minded Livestream Fundraising Intern to help grow and support our network of streamers and online creators. The intern will focus on building relationships, providing campaign resources, and fostering engagement across platforms like Discord, Twitch, and YouTube, helping creators inspire their audiences to protect nature and wildlife.
Location:
Washington, DC based or US Remote - WWF employs interns in all states with the exception of: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
Compensation:
$20.50 per hour full-time at 35 hours per week. Must be available after normal working hours (campaign calls tend to be at 6pm ET on Mondays) and available during streams (usually later afternoon/evening/late evening).
Responsibilities
* Community Engagement: Support the growth and day-to-day engagement of WWF's livestream fundraising community on Discord and other social platforms. Help foster a safe and welcoming space where streamers can connect, share ideas, and celebrate their impact.
* Streamer Outreach & Support: Assist in identifying, onboarding, and supporting streamers participating in WWF's fundraising campaigns on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube. Provide resources, answer questions, and help participants feel connected to WWF's mission.
* Campaign Coordination: Contribute to planning and coordination for WWF's 2026 livestream fundraising campaign, including timelines, communications, and activation events. Support fundraisers before, during, and after campaigns. Ensure community members have a positive experience and see the impact of their participation.
* Content Development: Help create digital materials such as campaign toolkits, graphics, and promotional assets that support streamers and highlight their fundraising efforts.
* Data & Insights: Track and analyze community engagement and campaign performance metrics to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: As the Data and Insights Intern, you will support the Director of Data, Insights, and IS. You will gain experience analyzing real-world data on hunger and food insecurity in the United States. The primary focus will be on Tableau to visualize the data in an easily understandable and acceptable manner. Primary responsibilities for this role will include a combination of the following:
Find and gather publicly available data sets
Clean, transform, and aggregate the data

How Long Will This Internship Last?
The duration of the internship varies depending on the semester. The fall and spring internships align with university academic semesters, while the summer internship runs from June to August. Interns are eligible to participate in the program for up to two semesters.
What Kind of Work Will I Do?
Research Interns - The Schroeder Institute will contribute to the department's research projects. Examples of past tasks of interns include conducting literature searches for projects, testing online surveys, content analysis (e.g., social media surveillance), and preparing results. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and can work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments and in a fast-paced environment. Current students pursuing their graduate degree in Public Health are preferred. An interest in behavioral research and/or interest in tobacco control research is a plus.
The Information Technology Intern's primary responsibility will be to respond to user questions and issues about PC's and provide Help Desk support. PC support responsibilities will include, but not be limited to installing new and upgrading computers for staff, assisting with staff moves, and resolving hardware and software problems. The intern will also provide project based support in areas of interest to IT. Ideal candidates are current students pursuing their undergraduate degree in the areas of Electrical or Systems Engineering; Computer Science, or Business Information Technology.
The Human Resources Intern will support Truth Initiative's Human Resources expertise center in various function areas and with special projects to broaden their knowledge of the HR function. Position Summary:
The Program Intern is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and occasionally evaluation of programs and activities based on the needs of Generation Hope Scholars and their families, Sponsors, staff, and volunteers. The Program Intern works in coordination with the program team and provides support to Generation Hope staff. Minimum Qualifications

Internship Details
This is an 11-week internship, which will run from approximately June 1, 2026 - August 17, 2026. The internship will be based out of our Washington, D.C. office, and follows a hybrid model, with both remote and in-person work expected each week.
Please note that interns are also expected to attend an in-person orientation and wrap-up session with AAAS Mass Media Fellows. The orientation will run June 3-5, 2026, and the wrap-up is scheduled for August 17-18, 2026.
The anticipated compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. AAAS will pay for one round-trip to and from Washington at the start and end of the internship. Interns are also eligible for SmarTrip transit benefits, which can be used on the regional subway and bus systems.

Position:
The Clinical Mental Health Intern is responsible for supporting the development, coordination and implementation of programs and activities of the Mental Health program of Generation Hope, including various mental-health related workshops and groups at program events, which may require select weekend hours. The Mental Health Intern works under the supervision of the Senior Mental Health Manager. Intern applicants must be in graduate-level Clinical Mental Health, School Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy programs. Clinical Supervision from a licensed professional will be provided on staff. During the internship, the Mental Health Intern will have the opportunity to design and implement a project of their choosing, which could range from creating new mental health resources for Scholars to designing elements of programs, etc.
Clinical Mental Health Interns will work a flexible schedule. Generation Hope operates on a hybrid schedule; with two days in the office per week. The Mental Health Intern will need to have transportation to be able to meet with Scholars and participate in mental health events. Candidates must be able to participate in this internship at least 15 hours weekly; candidates who have later afternoon and evening availability are preferred. Duties
Provide supervised direct services to Generation Hope Scholars (and/or Alumni) and their families in accordance with their psychological needs, developmental abilities, and individualized treatment plans; including individual sessions, family sessions, couples sessions, group sessions and psychoeducation workshops.
Maintain proper SOAP notes for each session and complete other clinical documentation such as case conceptualizations, treatment plans, biopsychosocial intakes, and assessments/screenings

The Strada summer internship program offers a paid, 13-week, hands-on learning experience for students who are at least one year post-high school. How Long Will This Internship Last?
The duration of the internship varies depending on the semester. The fall and spring internships align with university academic semesters, while the summer internship runs from June to August. Interns are eligible to participate in the program for up to two semesters.
What Kind of Work Will I Do?
* Research Interns - The Schroeder Institute will contribute to the department's research projects. Examples of past tasks of interns include conducting literature searches for projects, testing online surveys, content analysis (e.g., social media surveillance), and preparing results. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and can work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments and in a fast-paced environment. Current students pursuing their graduate degree in Public Health are preferred. An interest in behavioral research and/or interest in tobacco control research is a plus.
* The Information Technology Intern's primary responsibility will be to respond to user questions and issues about PC's and provide Help Desk support. PC support responsibilities will include, but not be limited to installing new and upgrading computers for staff, assisting with staff moves, and resolving hardware and software problems. Position Summary:
The Program Intern is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and occasionally evaluation of programs and activities based on the needs of Generation Hope Scholars and their families, Sponsors, staff, and volunteers. The Program Intern works in coordination with the program team and provides support to Generation Hope staff. The Program Intern will have the opportunity to design and implement a project-this could range from creating new resources for our Scholars to designing elements of training, etc.
Candidates are expected to participate in this internship at least 20 hours per week for at least 15 weeks. Candidates who can volunteer additional time are preferable. Responsibilities:

Position:
The Clinical Mental Health Intern is responsible for supporting the development, coordination and implementation of programs and activities of the Mental Health program of Generation Hope, including various mental-health related workshops and groups at program events, which may require select weekend hours. The Mental Health Intern works under the supervision of the Senior Mental Health Manager. Intern applicants must be in graduate-level Clinical Mental Health, School Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy programs. Clinical Supervision from a licensed professional will be provided on staff. During the internship, the Mental Health Intern will have the opportunity to design and implement a project of their choosing, which could range from creating new mental health resources for Scholars to designing elements of programs, etc.
Clinical Mental Health Interns will work a flexible schedule. Generation Hope operates on a hybrid schedule; with two days in the office per week. The Mental Health Intern will need to have transportation to be able to meet with Scholars and participate in mental health events. Candidates must be able to participate in this internship at least 15 hours weekly; candidates who have later afternoon and evening availability are preferred. Duties
Provide supervised direct services to Generation Hope Scholars (and/or Alumni) and their families in accordance with their psychological needs, developmental abilities, and individualized treatment plans; including individual sessions, family sessions, couples sessions, group sessions and psychoeducation workshops.
Maintain proper SOAP notes for each session and complete other clinical documentation such as case conceptualizations, treatment plans, biopsychosocial intakes, and assessments/screenings
Assist in facilitating the non-crisis mental health text line for Generation Hope Scholars
Appropriately track indirect and direct hours on a consistent basis
Engage in outreach initiatives, connecting Generation Hopes Mental Health program with other mental health resources in the DC metro area
