The company provides cargo handling services, such as global cargo logistics, cargo facilities management, DGR training and safety, cargo documentation and handling, aircraft capacity management, security processing, and live animal management; baggage handling and processing services; ramp services, such as aircraft loading, unloading, marshalling, water servicing, load planning, and airport transportation; and passenger services, such as passenger check-in, ticketing, boarding, VIP lounge staffing, and security and pre-board screening, as well as airport concierge services. Additionally, it offers technical services, including jet bridge operations, passenger boarding bridge maintenance and installation, conveyor installation and maintenance, ground support equipment maintenance, aircraft power and pre-conditioned air maintenance programs, and material handling systems. Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. was formerly known as AMR Services Corporation and changed its name to Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. in March, 1999. The company was incorporated in 1983 and is based in Irving, Texas. Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of WFS Global SAS.
