Job Title: Class A CDL Driver / Shop Technician
Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Shop Manager Job Shift: Weekly
We are seeking a versatile and reliable Class A CDL Driver / Shop Technician to join our team. This dual-role position involves driving company vehicles to transport goods and materials, as well as performing hands-on work in the shop to maintain and repair equipment. When not on the road, the individual will assist with valve testing, maintenance, and repairs, and support the overall operations of the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving Duties:
Safely operate company vehicles, including long-haul and short-haul transport, in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods/materials to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe and operational.
Maintain accurate logs, including hours of service, fuel records, and other transportation-related documentation.
Ensure cargo is properly secured during transport.
Shop Technician Responsibilities:
Perform pressure and functional testing of valves to ensure they meet required specifications.
Tear down and rebuild valves as needed for repairs and maintenance.
Maintain test equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, gauges, hoses, and other related machinery.
Use chart recorders, measurements, and test equipment to ensure product accuracy and compliance.
Verify gage calibration and operate test equipment for accurate testing and maintenance.
Monitor controls and instruments during testing and document precise test data, preparing test reports as required.
Operate torque equipment and forklift within the shop.
Pressure wash equipment and materials as needed.
Ensure all work is done in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Assist with shop inventory, ensuring tools and parts are available for use.
Perform other duties as required or prescribed in both the shop and driving roles.
Requirements:
Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn shop tasks (valve testing, maintenance, etc.).
Ability to operate hand tools, test equipment, torque equipment, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to perform both driving and shop tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a shop or performing mechanical repairs is a plus.
Knowledge of valve testing and repair is preferred but not required.
Forklift certification is a plus.

Job Description
Develops and executes the SE Lean Management System Deployment within Division Site or function, working with the Site Leader or Functional leader. Lean methodology is focused on building a disciplined operational review and execution system at value stream and site level. ESSENTIAL:

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or related engineering discipline).

* Working knowledge of Solid works and Enovia or similar Product Life Management (PLM) system - formal classes or 1 year experience.

Create and manage NCRs; follow up on dispositions.
Oversee manufacturing-related quality requirements for elastomer molding, inspection, assembly, and testing.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with API 16A, ISO 9001, ASME, and related standards.
Review inspection reports and verify product conformance.
Create and manage TPI POs and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Conduct contract reviews and hold kickoff meetings with customers and TPIs.
Monitor job packet completion and ensure full final traceability prior to assembly.
Coordinate customer and TPI involvement for assembly and testing.
Witness hydrostatic testing and review test charts.
Maintain calibration logs; coordinate external calibrations as required.
Investigate customer complaints and support corrective and preventive actions.
Perform internal audits to ensure readiness for API and ISO re-certification audits.
Develop and maintain a quality management system (QMS) to ensure successful API and ISO audits.
Conduct supplier audits and support vendor-quality issues.
