Our HRIS Team is looking to hire a student who will work 40 hours per week during our Summer Internship Program and can also work 15-20 hours per week during the school year starting in May 2026 onsite at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters. The hours are flexible, and we are willing to work around class schedules.
* Students must be local to the Columbus, Ohio area, as Worthington Steel is not responsible for providing supplemental housing for students.
During the 12-week program, interns will spend part of their time completing a business-driven project. These assignments could range from generating ideas for product and/or process improvement, developing a standardized playbook for a specific role or process within the Company.
Upon graduation, each intern will present their project to their manager, mentors and members of senior leadership. The interns will spend the remainder of their time receiving additional on-the-job experience and classroom learning. Classes will feature topics from general business etiquette, to resume writing, interviewing and presenting with confidence. In keeping with Our Philosophy, the program will also feature a community service component.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM data maintenance and audits ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
* Develops and customizes reports using Oracle reporting tools like Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
* Creates and maintains technical documentation.
* Participates in system testing for quarterly updates and new features.
* Build strong relationships with leaders across the business to identify and understand opportunities to enhance the HCM system and HR Reports.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills & Experience
* Experience with Dashboard visualizations and have the desire to advance their experience using Oracle tools
* Proficiency in Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables preferred)
* Basic understanding of databases or SQL is a plus
