What You'll Do
As a MaintenanceTechnician at TWB, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. You will:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues throughout the facility
Perform preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including PLC-related troubleshooting
Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical prints
Complete welding and fabrication tasks with minimal direction
Accurately and timely document work in the maintenance management system
Follow all safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
We're looking for a self-motivated, safety-focused problem solver who takes pride in their work. Ideal qualifications include:
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical background with PLC experience and the ability to read ladder logic
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic plumbing
Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills
Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
Solid computer and workbench skills
Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience

**Job Summary**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including but limited to washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; performing preventive/predictive maintenance; performing various welding activities; preforming boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; maintaining inventory supplies; preparing maintenance records; identifying and evaluating, monitoring work performed by inside and outside service companies; responding to emergency alarms; and mentoring MaintenanceTechnician I partners.
**Skills/Qualifications**
Required
+ 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
+ Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
+ Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
+ Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
+ Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
+ High School Diploma/GED
Preferred
+ Boiler knowledge
+ HVAC experience
+ Experience and ability to perform welding activities such as MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing

What You Will Do

* Installing and repairing mechanical drives, chains, sprockets, gears, belts, and couplings
* Perform all maintenance checks and preventive maintenance in a safe and timely manner
* Upload/download and research online the necessary software, maintenance and operation manual for equipment pertaining to the business to aid in performing tasks
* Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy, and high-volume environment
* Supporting our safe working environment by maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
The following includes both mechanical and electrical activities, however, General MaintenanceTechnicians will focus on the mechanical aspects and support electrical depending upon skills and knowledge:
* Troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical problems and repairing and maintaining all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures
* Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
* Completing mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance activities
* Troubleshooting and repairing automated systems with remote technical support
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* At least one year of maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or military environment
* Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
* Experience performing preventative maintenance and identifying predictive maintenance of equipment
What will Put You Ahead
* Electrical Certification, technical schooling earned or other related educational certifications/degrees
* Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors and electrical/mechanical equipment
* Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry
* Experience working with 480-volt motors
