What We're Looking For
VML is looking for a Senior Media Manager to be responsible for the implementation and management of all facets of Paid Search for key pharmaceutical client.
What You'll Do
* Maintain control of the advertising budget, ensuring execution of all client plans, and monitoring performance.
* Implement and develop department best practices.
* Develop POVs/position papers on key client or industry issues.
* Maintain effective communication within and outside of the agency to ensure accuracy and timeliness and that all campaign KPIs are met.
* Create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize Paid Search campaigns in all major search engines.
* Leverage site analytics programs for actionable insights.
* Create and utilize successful bid strategies and keyword management.
* Continually test all facets of a successful Paid Search campaign to hit all client KPIs.
* Communicate effectively with all essential team members.
* Communicate effectively, set, and manage client expectations.
Who You Are
* Passionate about and interested in digital and emerging media
* Able to learn new skills and tools quickly
* Familiar with all major search engines (Google Ads, Yahoo!, Bing, and other search engines)
* A strong communicator
* Able to maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients as well as within the agency
* Able to work well under pressure with attention to detail
What You'll Need
* 3-5 years of experience with digital media and paid search (SEM)
* Certifications in Google Ads & Bing Ads, Google Analytics, a plus
* Strong Excel, Keynote, and PPT skills

About the Role
The Group Account Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the Medical Education department, leading the development and execution of strategic medical education programs for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. What You'll Need
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical education within a healthcare advertising agency or related field.
Proven track record of successfully managing medical education projects.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent communicator with especially strong writing skills and experience presenting strategic and tactical plans to senior management

Account Leadership: Client Management & Strategic Thinking
As an SVP, you are responsible for successfully and autonomously overseeing client business and being the client's strategic thought partner and relationship manager. Fiscal Responsibility

It is your responsibility to anticipate any challenges or changes, communicate those challenges/changes to the client, and create a new scope in a timely manner. In this role, you must ensure the account is fiscally fit, meaning that it is staffed correctly to the fee budget
and staff are remaining within their projected hours. An SVP will have mastered the development of a budget and precise hours to deliver on task, with the ability to manage yearly and monthly staffing projections, partner with specialty leads (such as social media or creative) to account for those needs, and communicate regularly with leadership and Finance on any increases or decreases to fee budget. In addition, you are responsible for reviewing and approving timesheets and training your team to do the same.
Organic Growth
Along with regular account operations, the SVP also should proactively identify opportunities for growth with your current clients. This might include identifying a new work stream, leveraging subject matter experts or specialists within Ogilvy to provide the client with fresh thinking, or proactively offering solutions to a problem. You should be skilled in clearly presenting thinking that connects the dots and shows that you and the team understand the landscape and/or client challenge.
New Business
Business growth is critical to the financial success of the agency, and as an SVP, you will be tapped to lead or co-lead, and execute at least 2-3 new business pitches each year. This responsibility will include working with New Business Strategy to develop an insights- and data-drive strategy, working with the New Business team to manage the key steps in the process, and seeing your pitch presentation through from start to finish. As an SVP, you also should be comfortable with effectively presenting our capabilities, case studies, and new business proposals to prospects, engaging audiences through compelling storytelling. You manage individual deliverables typically as part of a larger branding program. You collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of designers, writers, and other strategists to create high-impact work that solves client and customer challenges. Additionally, you support business development efforts through research and thought leadership to make sure Interbrand is leading conversations across topics. You contribute to Interbrand's culture by participating in meetings, workshops, and debates, and by taking on team initiatives for things you care about. Strategists are at the center of the action at Interbrand-bringing new ideas to the table, guiding and challenging the team, and building a director-level experience set in the process.
THE ROLE:
Own specific deliverables within a project and manage all components (research, content development, team reviews, etc.)
Collaborate with the internal team and client to formalize hypotheses and develop compelling strategic recommendations
Collaborate with strategy leads and program managers to ensure that activities are progressing as planned, care deeply about the quality of the work
Know what's going on in the business and world - be a go-to source for trends, shifts, emerging customer dynamics, and behavior. Tell us what our clients should care about
Engage with your team and with Fortune 500 clients in stakeholder interviews and discussions about topics critical to their business
Synthesize learning and push beyond the fact base to craft compelling stories driven by your own point of view
Ensure that timelines are met and knowledge is shared across the team
WHAT YOU BRING:
Proven experience in brand marketing, business strategy, client service, design, innovation, or research
Strong writing and presentation skills
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint (bonus points for Keynote)
Working understanding of business processes
Experience with various research methodologies and comfort with qualitative and quantitative data
Interest in seeing the impact of your work in client businesses and in the real world

Compensation
Base salary range of $100k to $120k
This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Interbrand in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; other business and organizational needs; and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
