RH is seeking a Product Copy Editor to help transform product information into compelling and authentic content that aligns with our brand. In this role you will be responsible for researching and compiling key information to create accurate, authoritative product copy across all communication channels including web, catalog (sourcebook), packaging, and signage. The ideal candidate is passionate about content and copy, possesses superior written and verbal communication skills, and knows how to be a proactive and thoughtful leader. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Live our Vision, Values, and Beliefs Lead copy process for RH product categories from inception to launch. Become an expert in RH style and brand voice, with deep knowledge of the products, copy attributes, the industry, and competitor content and presentation Track product assortment, identify copy needs, and coordinate with internal partners to deliver the final copy under tight launch deadlines. Participate in Product Development kickoff meetings for all business categories. Work with Merchant team and Product Development to compile design background, artisan inspiration and product specifications for all products. This information will inform product copy that is authoritative, inspiring, accurate, detailed and differentiated. Uphold RH's brand voice and copy style across all customer touchpoints, including product names, romance copy, product details and packaging. Prepare copy assignments for freelance writers, convey key product information, answer questions and track deadlines. Support the product naming process across all brands, in collaboration with the VP of Brand Copy, by tracking and communicating final names. Maintain integrity of product copy through multiple steps, including development, editing, approval, and web launch. Write line extension web copy for multiple product categories. Partner closely with Catalog and Web Merch teams to verify the accuracy of copy and final product names. Build and maintain professional relationships with all internal and external partners. Oversee any additional projects to enhance product knowledge and support luxury brand positioning and key business initiatives. OUR REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in product copy editing, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry Outstanding organizational skills; extremely detail oriented Excellent project management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent copyediting and proofreading abilities Lead multiple tasks/projects in a deadline-driven environment Proactive team player who is able to collaborate across departments Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite applications Available to work on-site at our office in Corte Madera, CA as needed.
